Today we’d like to introduce you to The Showstopper Shawn Valentino
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I grew up in Sterling Heights, Michigan and was my high school president and Hunk of the Year. I went to college in University of Michigan. Then I arrived in LA to go to law school, but I had dreams of making movies and living a lifestyle of fantasy. While I was in school, I traveled the world and became a regular guest at the Playboy Mansion. I was inspired by my adventures and wrote a self-help book titled The Showstopper Lifestyle. My entertainment career began when I was invited on major talk shows like The Tyra Banks Show, Dr. Phil and Jerry Springer and reality shows like Fear Factor, Bad Girls Club and Take Me Out.
I realized that talk shows and reality shows were not my passion. I wanted to make movies. That’s when I started to produce movies with my producing partners Rich Twilling and Tremain Hayhoe. We created the first ever Bachelor movie franchise, a series of films that are a parody of James Bond and Mission: Impossible. We are currently on our seventh movie of the series. The first three films, The Bachelor Party: The Playboy’s Impossible Mission, The Bachelor Party 2: It’s a Wonderful Lifestyle and The Bachelor Murder Mystery can be found on Tubi. Our next three movies, The Bachelor to the Future, The Bachelor Party Massacre and The Bachelor Christmas Mystery are completing post-production and will be released this year.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The road has been a roller coaster as I’ve tried to discover my passion. At first, I was interviewed on major celebrity talk shows and starred in some of the biggest reality shows in the world, but I realized my true passion would be creating my own productions and making movies for the big screen! Thankfully, I have had an incredible team of producers and talented artists and an unbelievable cast of some of the most beautiful women in the world working with my over the last few years to make movie magic!
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I star and produce movies, the first ever bachelor movie franchise, I specialize in production and making microbudget movies on a grand scale with fabulous international locations and a stunning cast. I’m most proud of making 1 movie a year and having yearly premieres that are upscale events that recall classic Hollywood glamour and style.
I’ve been inspired by my heroes, Hugh Hefner, Tom Cruise, Michael Jackson, Elvis Presley and Shawn Michaels.
Are there any important lessons you’ve learned that you can share with us?
It is best to create your own vision instead of being a small part in someone else’s story.
