Check Out Susan Grau’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Susan Grau

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?

My journey began with a profound near-death experience that completely shifted my perspective on life and spirituality. During my Near Death Journey, I was shown a path that led me to embrace my intuitive gifts and become a medium and healer. It wasn’t an easy road—I faced skepticism and doubt, both from others and within myself. However, fueled by determination and guided by trust in the messages I received, I started offering readings and healing sessions to friends and family.

As word spread about the accuracy and healing impact of my work, more people sought me out for guidance. I realized that my purpose was to help others connect with their loved ones on the other side and find healing from grief and life’s challenges. Through workshops, public speaking engagements, and writing, including my new book “Infinite Life, Infinite Lessons,” with Hay House, I’ve reached a wider audience that led me to share the insights I’ve gained.

Building my business wasn’t just about growing a client base; it was about fostering a healing and spiritual growth community. Trusting in the messages I receive and in the support of my clients and peers has been crucial. Every step of this journey has reinforced my belief in the power of spirit and the importance of living authentically. Today, I continue to expand my practice, collaborate with like-minded individuals, and advocate for the transformative potential of spiritual connection.

I am honored to be part of the healing community and to aid others in their healing process. It is an amazing feeling to be of service to other souls. I am grateful for the abilities I was given as I take my work very seriously. Grief needs love and hope to heal, this is where I come in, I offer both.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?

Has it been a smooth road, absolutely not! In my personal life, like everyone else, I’ve endured overwhelming losses that shook me to my core. These experiences were pivotal in shaping my understanding of grief and healing, allowing me to empathize deeply with those I now guide through similar journeys.

Professionally, being a counselor in Grief and Addiction helped to make my work more credible however, navigating the world of intuitive mediumship was challenging. Skepticism and misunderstanding are common hurdles in my field. Building credibility and helping others grasp the essence of my work, connecting with spirit to facilitate healing, has required perseverance and patience. I’ve had to educate skeptics, demonstrate the integrity of my readings, and continuously refine my communication to bridge the gap between spiritual experiences and everyday understanding.

Overcoming these challenges has been a testament to my dedication and faith in the amazing power of spiritual connection. Each obstacle has strengthened my resolve and deepened my commitment to serving others with authenticity and compassion.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
As a speaker, author, and intuitive medium, I specialize in guiding clients through their grief process and connecting them with loved ones who have passed on. Additionally, I hold certifications as a grief and addiction specialist, allowing me to support individuals grappling with these challenges through spiritual healing.

My approach to healing is holistic. In addition to facilitating connections with departed loved ones, I provide tailored guidance to those navigating profound loss or addiction struggles. This unique approach reflects my commitment to supporting diverse spiritual journeys.

I also feel privileged to work with children who have had near-death experiences, offering them comfort and understanding as they process these transformative events. This work has profoundly shaped my understanding of resilience and the powerful impact of spiritual connection.

I take deep pride in my contributions to both realms: bringing comfort and healing to grieving families through spirit communication and aiding in the search for missing individuals through my insights in forensics. These experiences have enriched my understanding of the human spirit and underscored the power of spiritual connections.

I am now working on a new book and a podcast has just been released called, “Infinite Life, Infinite Wisdom”. My book, “Infinite Life, Infinite Lessons”, published by Hay House, is out and can be purchased everywhere books are sold. I am extremely proud of this book as it delves deep into the connection between us and the spirit world. It is not only a book for those who wish to grow and heal but also for those who wish to know more about where their loved ones are in spirit and who desire a greater understanding of the afterlife.

We all have a different way of looking at and defining success. How do you define success?
Success in my work, for me, is defined by the impact of my work on the lives of others. It is about helping individuals find healing and peace by connecting them with their loved ones in the spirit world and supporting them through their grief. Moreover, success is about authenticity and integrity in my work; being true to myself and my abilities while making a meaningful difference in the lives of those I am privileged to serve. It’s not just about achieving personal milestones, but about the positive effect my work has on the well-being and happiness of others. This is what drives me to continually strive for excellence and to approach each interaction with empathy, compassion, and a commitment to making a lasting, positive impact. Success is being true to myself and my intuitive abilities while making a meaningful difference in the lives of those I am privileged to serve.

Personal success is the result of self-love, personal empowerment, and a commitment to growth and learning. It involves setting and achieving meaningful goals, finding balance in life, and making a positive impact on the world around us.
