Today we’d like to introduce you to Sharon Eitany.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I always knew I wanted to be an actress. I fell in love with the magic of cinema at a very young age, and I knew I had to be part of that world. I decided to follow my dream and applied for a scholarship to my dream school, The Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute in Los Angeles. Receiving that scholarship changed my life. It wasn’t just an acceptance into a school; it was the moment my Hollywood journey truly began.
After my studies, I began working in film, television, commercials, and even explored modeling. Each project taught me something new about art, about people, and about myself.
I believe that when you set your mind and heart on something you’re truly passionate about, the universe finds a way to help you make it happen.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The journey hasn’t always been easy. I’ve faced many challenges along the way. This profession is incredibly dynamic, and it requires you to stay strong and grounded within yourself. I had to learn that every project that doesn’t happen isn’t a failure. It’s simply a redirection toward something better.
With that, I also discovered that I’m not only an actress, I’m a creator, and I began writing roles and projects for myself. I believe you shouldn’t wait for someone else to decide your future. You can shape it with your own hands and create your own doors.
Another challenge throughout the journey is the way your art can collide with your personal life. Making art is deeply connected to your soul and your emotions. You have to stay open and vulnerable throughout the process, and that can easily spill into your personal life as well.
On top of that, there are the voices around you from society that want you to follow a certain path or choose a safer option. Even when you know in your heart that this is your path, those voices can be hard to silence. It takes strength to keep going, to trust yourself, to stay true to your passion, and to walk forward even when others don’t fully understand.
In the end, each of these challenges has shaped me. They didn’t break me, they expanded me. They pushed me to grow in ways I never expected, and they’ve become some of the most powerful sources of strength and success in my journey.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I’m an actress and a creator, and my work comes to life where emotion and storytelling meet. I’m drawn to characters with depth, vulnerability, and complexity, and I pour my whole heart into bringing them to life, whether on screen or through the projects I write and create. I’m known for my emotional honesty, my openness, and the way I fully dive into a character’s inner world. My background shaped me with empathy, passion, and a strong sense of purpose, and all of that energy flows into my work.
Some of the projects I’m really proud of include films I’ve worked on around the world, and earning the scholarship to study at The Lee Strasberg Institute was another important milestone in my journey. But the work I’m most proud of is actually something I’m creating right now. It’s a piece I wrote that I can’t share details about yet, but it carries a big part of my heart and vision.
Each year brings a new milestone, a new reason to be proud, and I’m grateful for the way this path keeps growing with me.
I believe everyone holds a unique light. For me, it is the combination of emotional depth, passion, and soul-driven vision. I follow my truth, I trust my inner voice, and I let my artistry guide me forward.
What do you like best about our city? What do you like least?
I absolutely love Los Angeles. This is the city of opportunities. I love the people, the weather, the beach, the creative energy, and the fact that artists from all over the world come here to pursue their dreams. This city feels like a living heartbeat of dreams, and being in a place where so many dreams are born feels deeply spiritual to me. There isn’t much I dislike about Los Angeles, except maybe the traffic. But even then, with the right playlist and the right mindset, it becomes part of the experience.
I feel like this city carries so much magic, history, passion, inspiration, and beauty in every corner. It’s impossible not to fall in love with it. The palm trees, the golden sunlight, the open skies, the artistic spirit. It all feels like a reminder that anything is possible if you stay aligned with your purpose.
For me, this is the best place to be.
