Check Out Shane Glover’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Shane Glover

Hi Shane, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I grew up in a house of 4 other siblings, I was number 4 of 5. 3 sisters and 1 older brother. Each of us had a little athletic bone in us, for me it was like air.. I couldn’t get enough. Competition in sport is what I love most. Both of my parents worked wonders running around while my dad worked full time as superintendent and project manager for a general contracting company and my mom was a stay at home mom, mostly… She started working as my oldest siblings moved out for college or start their career. My mom was pivotal in me creating Love Cru. My mom cooked nearly all her meals from scratch, absolutely wonderful. She was well informed about what was considered healthy and what wasn’t. But as she learned she realized she was lied to by the very government programs like the FDA (Food and Drug Administration), AHA (American Heart Association), that we were taught to trust and believe. Little did we know they were being and still being influenced by money through lobbyists. Not to get off topic but basically real butter from whole milk where cows eat grass and freely graze on green pastures will create the healthiest cow this world has seen and therefore that health benefit is then passed on to us when we consume milk, cheese, beef, etc. She gave me insight, knowledge, and the desire to learn about true nutrition in food and supplements and vitamins, all of that! My dad is the hardest working man I’ve ever known. When he died from cancer on January 4th, 2018 at 9:36 PM at 62 years old after a 4 year battle. My life shifted from me wanting to become an orthopedic surgeon or an emergency physician to wanting to start a business but truly I wanted to change American culture. God was moving in my life in ways I can’t explain. I’ll say I began having dreams and visions of shifting the culture back to God, our creator. Not the universe, rather the one who created the universe, the earth, the stars and you and I and everything we see. He revealed the Holy Bible and how applying it to my life will cause shifts and gifts from heaven above to pour into my life so I can pour life into others. I worked at St. Bernardines Medical Center as an Emergency Medical Technician and Phlebotomist on 21st and Waterman in San Bernardino, California. It was a dangerous place to work and well underserved. I would see patients come in with 10, 15, 20 prescriptions wondering how is this possible? Then I saw first hand the corruption of creating subscribers through feeding people poison in the food at the grocery store and fast food and causing them to get ill slowly so they could drain as much money as they can from people before they die and then get their children to become their next victims. I started reading books from nutritionists who were represented by athletes like Kobe Bryant and Tom Brady to name a couple and what I learned was something I applied to my own life and felt compelled to share with others. I was sitting in Starbucks after reading some 20 books about business and nutrition and I was hit with searching for a name for a business. I researched names that people remember most and learned the best brands like Apple and Nike used only two syllables in their name and I reverse engineered my own name and arrived at Love Cru. God is Love and Cru is derived from the French vineyards that are premium vines that are the best of the best. Jesus says he is the vine and we are the branches and it was then I knew it was God directing me to call it Love Cru. Then COVID happened and my internal BS alarms started ringing and I didn’t trust anything they were saying about vaccines and what was actually happening. Everything that is healthy and good for man is what they shutdown… gyms, churches, going outside, being around other people, their was no community and it was all designed to break people into submission forcibly. Since then I’ve been building and compiling information into a program that is live now through the app called Discord. You can download Discord and join my Discord “Love Cru” through my Instagram bio. It’s built on 7 foundational principles Faith, Food, Fitness, Money Management, Creative Foundations, Business and Entrepreneurship, and Leadership. It’s awesome!

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
At 19 years old I was told I would never run again. I had a partial football scholarship to play at Colorado Mesa University in Grand Junction Colorado. During spring camp my true freshman year I tore my ACL, LCL, MCL, meniscus, and completely destroyed the cartilage in my right knee during a one-on-one drill where myself (a defensive end) would go up against an offensive lineman and we have 3 seconds to beat our guy off the ball and get to the pop up that would represent the quarterback in the backfield when I made the mistake of underestimating my opponent and watched and felt my whole knee crumble below me. The orthopedic surgeon in the area told me I would have to get a full-knee replacement at the age of 19. Fast-forward to now I’m 35 and I’m able to run without any issues of flaring up or pain to stop me from running and I never had a knee replacement. Bone broth and collagen supplements are what helped aid in this miraculous recovery. He instead did a experimental surgery called an O.A.T.S. Procedure where he would cut and remove cartilage from an area in my right knee that wasn’t as important as the area of my knee that was completely destroyed and then intentionally scar the area of the knee he removed the cartilage from that would create “cartilage” through scar tissue. Kind of wild and complicated. I had 2 surgeries after that. None of the surgeries were reconstructive as that one was but they had to remove some scar tissue that was locking up my knee causing me to not fully extend my knee and the other surgery was the removal of the screw they used to place my new ACL ligament that they graphed from my hamstring. In all I’ve had about 7 surgeries. 6 knee surgeries and 1 left hip surgery all from football injuries. Each one taught me that strength isn’t from getting strong but from losing something you took for granted like playing a game I loved or as simple as me being unable to walk unleashed a strength and determination I never knew I had until then. I spent 14 months total on crutches. Over a year I walked on my arms and that made me grateful for my legs and I knew one day God would restore my legs to me and running and doing what I love would return. The surgeon said I would never run again and that I should look at getting an office job in a cubicle. So instead I put my office in a circle and made it a square circle. Google what a square circle is.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I never allow preconceived beliefs or notions or limitations of others stop me from doing what I know I can do. You cannot place me in a box to fit in, I’m always thinking outside of the box effortlessly. It’s a gift I was given and the more I use it the more I see use for it.

We’d love to hear about any fond memories you have from when you were growing up?
Sports ran my life for as long as I could remember. I played soccer and scored all the goals, and my Dad would have to take me out of the game to give other kids a chance to score. I also played basketball but I fell in love with football. When I was 5 years old I broke my nose riding my bike while camping and after I saw the doctor he told me my nose was broken I didn’t care.. I just wanted to play. When my dad and I returned to the campsite, my friends were outside playing and I couldn’t sit still. So I’d run around breathing like bear in the woods trying to play hide and seek took some time before I could hide without being heard. When I was in 5th grade I would play basketball in the street and we were one of the only houses with a basketball hoop in the street. One day a much older guy in high school wanted to play me in Basketball. We played and all I remember is winning. I was maybe 10-11 years old he was certainly 17-18 years old and I remember making him sweat like he never sweat before. After the game I realized he was trying to get to know one of my older sisters and then we never played again after that. He was more about chasing women rather than playing sports and competing like myself. Another great memory was of my Dad and I would play catch shortly after I fell in love with football. When my dad would come home from a long day at work I would wait for him to throw me the ball and I would sprint across the street or in our backyard and have him throw me the ball and I would catch it like I was my favorite wide receiver in the NFL. Those were some wonderful days. Playing outside is so underrated these days. Television and games and computers are ruining the strength and capacity of what man is capable of. Love Cru is here to change the culture back to Make Men Strong Again.
