Check Out Reynaldo Pacheco’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Reynaldo Pacheco

Hi Reynaldo, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
My adventure started in the lively city of La Paz, Bolivia, deep in the heart of South America. There, my love for acting was nurtured through street performances and unique theater experiences like the ‘theatre of the oppressed’. Lacking access to formal acting schools, we eagerly participated in workshops taught by visiting foreigners and gypsies, soaking up their knowledge and the wisdom in their books. This unconventional learning ignited a fire within me, pushing me toward Los Angeles with an unstoppable drive and passion for acting.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It was very challenging at first because we Latinos didn’t have many opportunities back then. I remember one of my first commercials; they didn’t even place the Latino cast with the extras but in a tent outside the set. We were called on set to watch and imitate the English-speaking cast, with no option to create or make it our own. Today, the industry values bilingual talent, and we have so many more opportunities.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I ve been blessed to perform in leading roles opposite Oscar Winners Sandra Bullock, George Clooney, Christopher Plummer, Ernest Borgnine, June Squibb, and Billy Bob Thornton.
Stars like Ewan McGregor, Eva Longoria, Kate del Castillo, and Ozuna.

Currently

I’ve just arrived from Hollywood to Peru and Argentina to take on one of the most complex and challenging roles of my career: Johnny Orosco, the singer of the famous and controversial group Néctar. This new project by “Del Barrio Producciones” has started filming “Tu nombre y el mío,” a telenovela for América Televisión based on the life of the Orosco family, directed by Michelle Alexander.

Johnny Orosco, the character I’m playing, was the leader of Néctar, known for his humble beginnings in Peru and his later success in Argentina, where he formed one of the most successful cumbia groups in South America. Tragically, Orosco died years later in a suspicious accident in Argentina.

The Tv show is set to be seen by millions of people in South America.

So, before we go, how can our readers or others connect or collaborate with you? How can they support you?
When I left Bolivia with the dream to become a Hollywood Actor. I promised God that I would create the opportunities I never had for the next generation. Thats I why I funded the acting school Hollywood Academy of Performing Arts. (HAPA) with my sister Alejandra Pacheco, it is a complete acting program that connects cities with the latest acting techniques thanks to Video calls and the perks of globalization.
Today HAPA has expanded from Bolivia to many countries including Los Angeles itself! I had the pleasure of coaching my self to celebrities like the Kardashian Kendall Jenner, Karol G, Camila Morrone, etc.

We can collaborate on creating courses and workshops for the community of HAPA
