Today we’d like to introduce you to Rack Racin.
Hi Rack, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I started when I was in the 6th grade inspired by my older cousin who was rappin at the time. I kept goin and goin and then about my 12th grade year, I was in a group called Money Grip, and we was killing the city with youtube videos with songs called Da Way You Move And City Girls and had a big following. We then grew apart due to bs and I became RackRacinPlay, the solo artist I am now. Have features with 21Savage, Sahbabii, Kap G and have many friends apart of the music industry today as Lil Baby we went to middle school together and we see each other its all love just haven’t had the chance to actually work with him yet.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
No, not at all. I still haven’t made it yet or got any music chances or situations, never had a manager or anything. So I’m trying to build me a solo fan base by reaching out to other artists an etc. but it’s kinda like you have to do it all on your own. Which I’m doing now by investing in myself which makes it still stressful but it’s my passion. I love to do it. I’m just ready to bring the bread home.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m known for music and being talented but you know in my city, they don’t support their own I feel like I’m the most envied but thats what I am proud of cuz when it does happen, I waited my turn and still pushed myself cuz I know I’m greatness.
What would you say have been one of the most important lessons you’ve learned?
Just stay true to you stick to your own style no matter what anybody says its ears all around the world half the music we hear we all may not like but someone does just wait till you catch the right ears an generate what you want.
