Hi Prymrr, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
My journey began in a small town where I fell in love with dance at a young age. I started training in various styles, including hip-hop and quickly realized that dance was my true passion. My big break came when I was cast in Sia’s “Never Give Up” music video, which brought me a lot of attention. This opportunity led to more high-profile gigs. As I continued to grow as a dancer, I felt a pull towards music and started writing and recording my own songs. I released singles like “GAMBLiN” and “Take Over,” blending my dance skills with my music to create a unique style. Social media played a huge role in my journey, allowing me to share my art and connect with fans worldwide. Today, I’m based in Los Angeles, continuing to create, perform, and inspire others to pursue their dreams with passion and authenticity.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. There have been many challenges along the way. Starting out as a young dancer in a small town, it was hard to get noticed and find opportunities. When I moved to Los Angeles, the competition was intense, and it was easy to feel overwhelmed. Balancing school, training, and trying to build a career was also really tough. As I transitioned into music, there were new challenges, like learning the ins and outs of the music industry and finding my unique voice. However, each struggle taught me something valuable and made me more determined. The support from my family, friends, and besties kept me going, and now I see those obstacles as important parts of my journey.

I’d love to share more about my work! I’m Prymrr, and I’m a dancer, singer, and content creator. I specialize in hip-hop and pop music, combining my dance skills with my music to create a unique performance style. I’m known for my high-energy dance videos and singles like “GAMBLiN” and “Take Over.” What I’m most proud of is the community I’ve built and the positive impact I’ve had on my besties. I strive to inspire and empower others through my art, showing them that they can achieve their dreams with hard work and dedication. What sets me apart from others is my blend of dance and music, my authenticity, and my genuine connection with my audience. I pour my heart into everything I do, and I think that passion shines through in my work.

Something surprising that most people might not know about me is that my mom, who is a poet, deeply inspires my songwriting. Growing up with her beautiful words and profound thoughts has influenced the way I approach writing my music. While I’m not a poet myself, her creativity and expressive nature have shaped my own artistic journey, helping me infuse my songs with emotion and depth. This connection to my mom’s poetry adds a special layer to my music, keeping me grounded and continually inspired.
