Hi Niko, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
NikofromChino! That’s where it all started, but now in Las Vegas aka “Entertainment & Music Capital of The World” Fast forward to Chino High School, where my hosting and MC presence became known. I would DJ, read the morning announcements, MC school activities, host rallies, football games with pregame tailgating, and all school lunches. Then during college, I became the City of Chino Adult Sports Specialist at age 20. Managing and coordinating events for the city was a big indicator for what was next. Working for Verizon in 2012 I was selected in the top 24 in their first-ever “Rockstar” competition. That same event is where I first met my wife, Stephanie Galvez. Now Stephanie and I have our own podcast show & brand called, “The Local Talent Podcast”. We are also co-founders of ” NEG MEDIA PRO”. I have worked with the industries biggest and brightest minds. Some people don’t even know that I have worked with Lebron James, Oprah and even my childhood idol, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson! My story really evolved when Stephanie and I decided to take the gamble and move to Las Vegas, Nevada during COVID September 2020. I quickly found myself as the Executive Producer for a local creative studio. After working with celebrities, producing artists, and managing influencers I found myself happy! Every day I wake up wanting to create #WhatsNext
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It’s never been easy, but I can say my life is like a movie! Worked in the “corporate” life then small business, now CEO and co-founder of our company with my wife! When you are at the top of your own company there are no days off and no paid time off. Every day is a grind. Perfection is the enemy of profitability one hundred percent! People say the first three years of a new business is the hardest. Yes, #facts! I am always looking for new opportunities while staying ahead of the game. Technology is evolving and changing fast; that’s why I always want to be ready for #WhatsNext
