Today we’d like to introduce you to Nathalia Rotella.
Hi Nathalia, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I’m originally from Brazil and had been living in Miami before moving to Los Angeles, and that transition ended up shaping the beginning of ELLA. My background is in business analysis, digital transformation, and marketing, and although that corporate foundation taught me a lot, I always felt drawn to a space where creativity and strategy could coexist more freely.
When I moved to LA, I finally gave myself the space to explore that. I began designing social media templates as a simple creative outlet, and very quickly, I noticed a clear gap in the market. Creators and small businesses were struggling with the pressure of keeping up with trends, platform changes, and the demand for consistent, high-quality content. What I was creating offered an accessible, professional, and strategic way for them to stay relevant without burning out.
From the second quarter of 2025 onward, the brand grew organically. What started as a few Etsy listings quickly evolved into a global digital product business. Within four months, ELLA became a Top 8% Etsy shop, reaching 70 countries, which validated what I had sensed from the start: people needed smarter, more efficient content solutions.
As demand increased, so did the vision. ELLA expanded into The Content Club, a library with thousands of templates across niches and aesthetics. It blends design, strategy, and trend-awareness to help creators maintain a polished and consistent online presence with far less friction and at an accessible price point.
Now we are preparing to launch an affiliate program and broaden our offerings with new tools, automations, and AI resources for creators and business owners. What began as a creative project has grown into a brand focused on making content creation not only beautiful, but intelligent, efficient, and sustainable.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The journey has been full of challenges, but each one pushed me to grow and refine the brand.
When I started ELLA, everything was new to me. I had to learn the entire digital product landscape from the ground up. I also had to dive into ads, marketing funnels, and the constantly evolving algorithms on every platform.
One of the biggest challenges was learning how to create an ecosystem between platforms, where each channel supports the others, and understanding how to use that information to make smarter decisions. Cross-data learning became essential. It helped me identify what content styles perform best, what customers respond to, and where the brand can grow next.
On top of the technical challenges, there was the emotional side of entrepreneurship, trusting my ideas, staying consistent during slower periods, and navigating a new city while building a brand.
But every step of the process taught me something valuable. Learning digital products, global social media dynamics, paid ads, and cross-platform ecosystems gave me the foundation to build ELLA into what it is today. The road hasn’t been smooth, but it has been incredibly transformative and there is still so much more to learn and evolve into ahead.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
For me, creating is a way of understanding the world and helping others feel more capable in it.
My work combines design, strategy, and user understanding to simplify content creation for creators and business owners. I design with the intention of solving real pain points such as overwhelm, inconsistency, and the pressure to stay relevant.
What sets me apart is that I create from a place of empathy. I understand how quickly things change online and how challenging it can be to stay visible without burning out. Everything I create is meant to reduce stress and give people confidence.
I am proud of ELLA’s global growth, but I am most proud of the impact it has on people who tell me my work helped them stay consistent or finally feel aligned with their brand. As I expand into automations and AI, my goal remains the same: to create smart and supportive tools that help people do their best work.
