Check Out Mia Rivers’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Mia Rivers

Hi Mia, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I’ve always had a passion for creativity and self-expression.
Growing up in Slovakia, life was challenging but also inspiring. I moved a lot at a young age, which shaped my resilience and adaptability. Coming to the U.S. in 2013 was a turning point—I saw it as an opportunity to build something meaningful. I’ve always been drawn to the arts, and with my passion for acting, modeling, and storytelling, I naturally transitioned into becoming a creator. Being an only child, I often found comfort in imagination and storytelling and moving frequently taught me to adapt to new environments, which later helped me in acting—stepping into different roles and embracing new identities felt natural. I had an opportunity to learn several languages and that also gave me a deeper appreciation for culture and expression. But being always determined and working hard get me where am I now. Independent, peaceful always working on myself or helping others .

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Moving to the U.S. was a dream, but it came with many challenges. Legal immigration was a long and complex process, requiring patience and determination. As a European adapting to a new culture, I had to navigate language barriers, even though I was fluent in English. The pace and energy of New York, where I lived for 10 years, were both exciting and overwhelming at times. I went thru the case of DV. That part of the life was very difficult for me . However, those struggles helped me grow stronger. Last year, I made another big move to Los Angeles to further pursue my career, which came with new challenges but also new opportunities.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Beyond acting and modeling, I’ve taken on various roles that have helped shape my perspective. Working as a personal assistant taught me organization, adaptability, and the importance of networking in the industry. Cooking has always been a passion—it’s a creative outlet and a way to connect with people. These experiences, combined with my background and the challenges I’ve faced, have made me more resilient and well-rounded. Every experience, whether in front of the camera or behind the scenes, has contributed to my growth as a person and a creator.

Can you share something surprising about yourself?
People are often surprised by how adaptable I am. Whether it’s moving to a new country, learning a new language, or taking on different roles, I thrive in change, which has helped me connect with people from all over the world. Another surprising thing is my ability to handle any project—whether it’s acting, modeling, cooking, or managing tasks as a personal assistant, I take on challenges with confidence and efficiency.
