Malcolm Lee

Malcolm, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
“Very Nice The Brand” was born from my passion for exquisite items and experiences. Occasionally, I find myself fixated on certain pieces, eagerly plotting on when I should tap in. The inception and concept of the brand stems from a pivotal moment when I impulsively purchased a watch from a renowned Japanese brand, securing the last available piece. As I admired my purchase, the words “Damn, This is a VERY NICE watch,” sparking the realization to establish “Very Nice The Brand.” Today, as I reflect on this journey, I’m reminded of the power in bringing ideas to fruition.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
The journey of creation is never without its challenges. Research and development entail strenuous and meticulous efforts, especially when striving to craft something timeless. Amidst the entire process, the most arduous phase is refining the products for my brand before their release. Producing samples incurs both financial costs and time investments, necessitating on-location scrutiny to ensure the product meets the highest standards. Nevertheless, I cherish every step of this process, knowing that each meticulous detail contributes to the final outcome. The thrill of witnessing others’ excitement buying one of the items I painstakingly created fuels my drive to keep going and elevating the brand.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
In my professional journey, I excel in various roles including Barbering, Photography, Videography, Education, and Coaching. Renowned for my versatility, I wear many hats in my endeavors. Across each discipline, my goal is to ensure every client walks away feeling part of an extraordinary experience. What sets me apart is my consistent dedication and the heights I’ve reached in each craft, merging them seamlessly into a cohesive narrative of excellence.

What sort of changes are you expecting over the next 5-10 years?
I see the industry going completely digital in the next few years. How you show up online will determine how we make financial decisions in the future in regards to consuming and spending.
