Hi Mako , can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?

Born in New York and raised in Puerto Rico, Mako San proudly identifies as Nuyorican, bringing a vibrant blend of cultures to every role he embodies.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Being homeless after 9/11 was the most challenging period of my life. Sleeping in the streets of New York. Riding the A train to the last stop and fighting internal demons that needed to be controlled.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I teach Martial Arts full time. We help the community get out of their way. We keep children off of the streets and help the parents and adults manage mental stress. I started in stunts with my first stunt job being the video of Aventura El Malo. Did stunts for a long time but now it is taxing on the body and wanted to be more in front of the camera. I’ve written, directed and executive produced many films. Now training in acting for Film, TV, Theater, and commercials I want to be on a platform and help others believe they can achieve their dreams no matter what struggles they’ve endured. I am mostly known for being a great human to work with who is always professional and makes the Film creators dreams come to full fruition no matter what character I convey. What sets me apart is that I genuinely care about people and want their success to be of epic proportions.
We’d love to hear about any fond memories you have from when you were growing up?
My favorite child hood memory was seeing Star Wars the Empire Strikes back. Star Wars saved my life while I was homeless.
