Check Out Krizia Giron’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Krizia Giron.

Krizia Giron

Hi Krizia, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
The passion for my work and everything I do started years ago; I was barely 19 years old when I realized that what my hands touched, they transformed into something beautiful. I was studying my career as a professional dressmaker and at the same time studying communication at the university when I suddenly became passionate about flowers.

Everywhere I went, I saw flowers and they always called me the, I remember the first bouquet I made; It was a bridal bouquet.

With that bouquet, everything would start!

As the years went by, I began to collect ideas and I wanted to save them, but I didn’t know how, so the idea of having a page especially to save everything that I liked and that one day I was going to be able to do was born.

People started seeing the page and started asking me if I could do it, and of course I could!

Then I started with flower arrangements for Valentine’s Day and Mother’s Day and little by little I began to grow in everything I set out to do.

God has opened the doors of many places and has taken me to places that I did not imagine I would reach.

I owe everything to Him and to all those people who put that trust in me.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Throughout our lives, we encounter many challenges; one of the biggest is being able to overcome fear. In a country that is not ours, we feel that we can have everything but that not everything belongs to us, and we feel afraid of not being able to achieve our dreams and goals.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I am a wedding planner and florist; I am also a photographer. I became convinced that I am a Latina woman and that identifies me and makes me feel confident in everything I do, “being Latina” is like a superpower.

What would you say has been one of the most important lessons you’ve learned?
You never lose, even when you think you lose, you are not losing, but you are gaining experience and taking that experience and giving your best version, and although sometimes it is difficult, it is never impossible.
