Today we’d like to introduce you to Kris Fair
Hi Kris, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
Husband and wife duo Kris and Andrew are looking for a safe and educational place for our 15-year-old to work out in a supervised way. We have worked with Manreet before, supporting our family in various PT recovery, and thought that once she and Frank ( a personal trainer and health coach) opened Verro Gym, it would be the perfect combo for our son. Nothing else like it exists in our location. The Venice Lift Club was born, and we started recruiting 15-year-old men who also wanted to train and learn about technique, nutrition, and recovery.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
We found that the age group needs to be 15 and above due to the boy’s capacity to listen and understand the importance of what they are being taught. Some more mature and stronger 14-year-olds have now joined us, but the ideal age is 15-18.
Our biggest challenge has been competing with all of the after-school and Summer activities that the active boys participate in.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
My husband and I are both in Marketing and Advertising and are very active in heath and wellness. We want our kids to learn the importance of a healthy lifestyle and how to recover post-exercise – whole body.

Is there any advice you’d like to share with our readers who might just be starting out?
Just do it. We were lucky enough to have access to amazing PT professionals, and a son had a need, with a network around us to encourage young men to join us. When there’s a void in the market – create the solution yourself.
