Today we’d like to introduce you to Kelly Decsy.
Hi Kelly, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I am a first-generation American. My father came to the US as a refugee from cold war Hungary. As I now represent people in order to get them to work visas and green card to the US, I feel that it started from my immigrant roots.
As I was born and raised in LA — it only makes sense that I specialize in helping people in the film/tv industry / influencers and all types of artists to be able to come to the US and live.
Also being an influencer myself gave me a unique perspective in being able to put together work visa applications for all aspects of people who work in social media from the influencers themselves to their social media content strategist to even the people who edit their videos.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Immigration is always a hard road as it is fast paste and constantly changing.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I am an influencer that helps other influencer and their teams get work visas and green cards to come and work inside the US.
We love surprises, fun facts and unexpected stories. Is there something you can share that might surprise us?
I am an immigration attorney — most people/clients/ people from my legal world have no idea I am also an influencer on social media as well.
