Today we’d like to introduce you to Keith Stafford.
Hi Keith, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I grew up in Philadelphia, PA the city of “Brotherly Love” where at the age of 12 years old, I started my music career as a professional drummer, guitarist and singer. Because I displayed the natural skills, knowledge and ability to manage our band bookings, engagement pricing and scheduling travel logistics, I was appointed to manage our music group’s business. At an early age I dreamed of running my own business, being financially successful and traveling the world!
After many years of focusing on intense musical rehearsals and stage performances, playing on professional studio recording sessions along with educating myself on different aspects of the entertainment business in 1974, I joined the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers and signed a songwriting and recording contract with Warner Brothers Records in Burbank, CA. Afterwards various key opportunities opened up as I became more involved in helping to create professional music and television productions, along with stage performances. I’ve written and produced my own original music for HBO Sports, and live TV programs for Viacom Community Television. I’ve also contracted as a project manager for several entertainment companies for specific music and video projects. During my entertainment business career, I’ve directed and produced youth television programs, developed and operated a national non-profit music/drama youth drug prevention organization programs, designed and marketed my specific brand of cultural retail product lines for distribution to major national retail store chains.
Currently, I’m the project manager for a Sacramento-based entertainment company that develops music and film productions, art designs, and radio and social media marketing campaigns globally. Annually l coordinate and produce a Weekend Christian’s Men’s Retreat Ministry in Northern California. Lastly I’m an active professional licensed realtor and homeowner educator representing clients who seek to buy, sell, and invest in real estate globally.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Every business will encounter growing pains but if you stay focused on your purpose for operating your business, you will be an overcomer of obstacles and challenges. A good business strategy to always practice would be the implementation of your best efforts to manage the business quantity control policy over your final products and/or services you are developing and releasing to the Public At Large. Also, never give up on your vision and dreams because someone said NO! Prepare yourself to expect failures along the way, but remember failures only help you to develop the strength you need to be successful in your lifetime!

As a business owner, for many years, I’ve learned that listening carefully and having patience are my two strong points, along with following a daily detailed structure to help produced successful results for me. I really believe providing the best information for the client to make the best decision creates a positive environment and a loyal lifelong built-in referral system.
Do you have recommendations for books, apps, blogs, etc?
My favorite book to read is the Bible that was introduced to me at an early age and the spiritual content has guided my pathway throughout my lifetime. I enjoy reading, traveling, daily exercise, people conversations and Family Time!
