Check Out Kaitlyn Andrew’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kaitlyn Andrew.

Hi Kaitlyn, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Moving to California opened the door to truly incredible opportunities. Coming from a small town in northeast Ohio originally, the massive step outside of my comfort zone was both challenging and exhilarating. My breakthrough into professional modeling happened in 2019 when I signed up for an acting class and the instructor discovered my talent for modeling. Soon afterward, I was walking in runway shows alongside skilled models and masterful designers. Modeling changed my life. It brings me to new places, I get to sharpen my skills and connect with other creative professionals and like-minded people in the community. Together, we build our dreams.

Now, I have several covers and have been featured multiple times in magazine publications. I am working more closely with brands and invited to private events. Additionally, I am currently in an intensive development program to continue bettering my skills in both acting and modeling.

Through these pursuits, I hope to cultivate passion and inspiration for others to transform their own lives in ways that are meaningful to them individually.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Being 5’1” made it challenging because I was different from the industry standard. There is so much more to modeling than height alone. It took time for me to find the right techniques and get comfortable in front of the camera. By building up my experience and working on photo movement, facial expressions, posture, posing and more I have become more desirable. My model mindset has evolved. Turning perceived weaknesses into strengths has made me feel powerful. Modeling is a fulfilling way to build confidence, increase self-esteem and feel connected and part of something bigger.

The evolution for inclusivity and diversity is beginning to catch on. Reaching beyond this and gaining momentum for diversity and inclusivity is something happening now. Seeing how uniquely beautiful we all are has taught me that we each have different strengths. Continuous improvement has been an integral part of my journey. I’m always looking for new ways to expand and improve. Models today are shattering stereotypes. Trusting the process and believing in myself has taken on new meaning. I hope to gain wider recognition and continue advancing my modeling career.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
Fueled by passion, purpose and poise, I am a petite fashion model, influencer and actress.

I am most proud of my efforts to continuously improve and to keep moving forward. Each year gets better as bigger opportunities come my way. The longer I stick with modeling, the more doors open. I hope to break through into commercial acting and am actively taking steps to pursue this further. I am proud of myself for not giving up and expanding my vision.

What does success mean to you?
Success is no accident. It is dedication, focus, hard work, perseverance, lifelong learning, sacrifice and most of all, passion and a love for what I am doing as a model. True and lasting success comes from within. Success is consistent and strategic action, continuous improvement backed by unshakable confidence and commitment. Accepting constructive criticism gracefully and looking at it in an objective and non-personal way has taught me a lot. It’s given me room to improve and better my skills. I’ve learned that one single opportunity can change everything. Being willing, ready and moving forward fearlessly is a WIN. Success starts with showing up. It’s the small habits. It’s taking the opportunity, not knowing where it leads. Striving for growth and development on all levels, bettering my skills and improving every day. Making each day count.
