Jennifer , we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I’m Jennifer Arenas, a Colombian actress and producer with 16 years of experience in the craft of acting. I’ve spent the past six years in the United States, traveling between New York, Los Angeles, and Colombian and I’ve had the privilege of working on projects like Sin Senos Sí Hay Paraíso with Telemundo and Leidy, La Vendedora de Rosas with Sony Pictures.
For me, acting isn’t just a profession—it’s a calling. My purpose is to use my work as a platform to share positive messages, inspire others, and touch hearts. Through the roles I choose, I aim to reflect values like faith, hope, and resilience while staying true to my belief that every story has the power to make a difference.
With each project, I’m committed to creating work that not only entertains but uplifts. As I continue on this journey, I’m driven by a deep desire to serve a greater purpose and connect with audiences on a meaningful level. I’m the instrument of god.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
All professions have their ups and downs—sometimes it’s challenging, sometimes it’s easier. Life itself is the same way. But the smoothest path begins when you choose to view circumstances from the most positive perspective. When you embrace the lessons that come with each challenge, build a strong confidence in yourself, and live with gratitude for being alive, that’s when true growth happens. It’s through this mindset that we gain the knowledge and resilience to keep working toward our dreams.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
As a Latina actress and producer, my journey in this craft has always been rooted in respect and passion for the art of interpretation. From starting in background roles to now auditioning alongside some of Hollywood’s most renowned actors, I’ve learned that no project is bigger than the mindset you bring to it. The real challenge lies within—how you approach each opportunity and how you feel about it.
I’m constantly working to grow my craft, diving into research on human behavior (yes, including psychology), voice training for both acting and singing (since I also sing), stage presence, and exploring the depths of inner knowledge. I believe everything teaches us something, and I strive to learn from the complete universe, using every experience as a lesson.
What I’m most proud of is my persistence, discipline, and ability to reinvent myself on this journey. The results I’ve achieved have come through hard work, especially in today’s world where the pressure to produce instant results is ever-present. But I’ve learned that true growth takes time, and every step—no matter how small—brings me closer to my dreams.
Can you tell us more about what you were like growing up?
I think you’ve probably felt my mystic vibe! haha
Since childhood, I’ve been deeply fascinated by human behavior. I remember observing my classmates closely—imitating their mannerisms, body language, and even their voices. Alongside that, I’ve always had a love for animals, nature, and good food. These passions have been with me since I was young. I’m also a lifelong learner, constantly seeking to expand my knowledge and experience. There’s always something new to discover, and I love the journey of constant self-improvement.
