Today we’d like to introduce you to Jake Webber.
Jake, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
When I was younger I felt very different. I know it’s cliche but I never liked the typical interests as everyone else around me. As I got older I wanted that attention that I never got through friends, so I started making online videos being myself. I moved out to LA to be around people that wanted the same thing as me and everything changed.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
My main obstacle were making unique content. I always kept in mind whatever I do I have to stand out, and I have to really want it.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
For my work I wake up, make a fast food eating stream, film a YouTube video, then edit it. I edit all my videos on my main channel because I’m super picky. I try to find hobbies but honestly, all I want to do is make videos so it takes up most of my time. I, of course make some time to party.
Any advice for finding a mentor or networking in general?
LA is unique in the sense that every party is a networking fest. I’m terrible at meeting new people and I’m moreso interested in just finding friendships. I’ve made my favorite content with my best friends. Shoutout johnnie!
