I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
Some of the challenges I find being an Artist are you have to be ‘On’ all the time. Meaning On your game. I’m constantly working on my vocals to stay in a good voice, taking care of myself to look good at all times skin, hair, etc, staying healthy, keeping fit with regular workouts, trying to eat right, even when I’m traveling, always taking time out to talk to fans, even if I’m in a hurry. Being a celebrity can be very challenging but I manage to make it work in all the facets of my life. The biggest challenge in my career I’ve had to face was a recent health scare. This past June when I returned from doing tour dates I became extremely ill with a painful kidney stone infection. It landed me in the ICU for 5 days and I was told I could have died had I waited any longer for treatment. I feel my faith in God and others praying for me helped me recover quickly. I am very blessed to have lived to tell the story and I advocate strongly for woman’s health. issues.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
Jade advocates for women’s health issues having had a recent hospital admission for kidney stones. She advises all women to get checkups regularly. Because of the busy, hectic schedules in everyday life, we sometimes forget to take care of ourselves. She considers this a warning and feels blessed to be 100% better again. Jade is motivated by music every day of her life. She’s inspired to write original music through her experiences whether it be fictional, nonfictional or living vicariously through someone else all together.

Jade Starling is currently working with a young and talented singer/actress, Sasha Anne. It’s been an incredible honor working with Sasha over the past year, I see a bright future ahead for her. Starling has also been vocal coaching and mentoring her and recently co-produced her upcoming original single, “Scars”.

I’m Excited for my New Music Releases and Tourdates in 2023. Whey Cooler and I have been working hard in the studio on an album and collaborations with other DJ Producers. I think the music we are working on will blow people away, looking forward to dropping a new single ‘Crazy’ early in the new year. I’m also working on a book about my incredible life experiences in the music industry and beyond. As always, I look forward to connecting with the fans while we are on the road and finding new adventures and making new memories. I’m so Blessed to live this life I’ve been given and I love sharing my music and positive message with the World!!

Risk taking is a topic that people have widely differing views on – we’d love to hear your thoughts.
I’ve always been a risk taker when it comes to music and fashion. I never wanted to be like anyone else, so I took pride in writing and performing music in all genres. We have done arena tours as a rock band and also have done acoustic singer songwriter shows in smaller venues. I love performing in dance clubs where I can be close to the audience. I never wanted to be pigeonholed as one type of musician, I love making all types of music. My stage gear and wardrobe have always reflected my rebellious side and have been specially designed for me. I like wearing totally unique and original pieces. I’ve always taken chances with my fashion choices, but I feel and look good in them so it’s worth the risk!!
