Check Out Finnigen Rynehart’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Finnigen Rynehart.

Hi Finnigen, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I started my journey as a child. I was always painting, sketching, writing, etc. I was obsessed with creating my own world. I wanted to live in this fantasy and creating was the only way to do that. As I became a young adult, I continued to search for a way to expand on what was in my head and let others see it.
I haven’t looked back since.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
Most definitely not. From bullying to an attempt at suicide, it has been a bumpy road. Other than the obvious struggles, I think not being able to fully convey what I’m thinking has been challenging.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I think above all else, I am a painter. I specialize in Western surrealism and typically stick with oils and linen. After painting comes music. I love singing and making music since I can remember. My current project, “Both Tigers Die” has four songs out and a music video is currently in the works.

I’d say I’m most proud of where I am today. Looking back, there were times I gave up completely. Sometimes it was trauma and depression and other times, it was simply not feeling like I could do it. However, I am still here and thriving and couldn’t be happier.

Any advice for finding a mentor or networking in general?
Hmmm. That’s a hard question for me. I have never really had a mentor or been good at networking, lol. Instagram and getting myself out there has worked well for me. I’ve learned the more people I physically interact with the more connections I make and my community grows.
