I actually got into catering almost by accident. What started as a college job to help pay for tuition quickly became something more — I fell in love with the energy, the creativity, and the joy of bringing people together around food.
Over time, I realized it wasn’t just about cooking or serving; it was about creating moments that people remember — turning a simple meal into an experience. That passion grew into Fusion Events, where I could combine everything I loved: food, design, coordination, and the magic of meaningful connection.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Not at all — but I think that’s what makes it so fulfilling. When I started Fusion Events, I had a vision and plenty of passion, but I was still figuring everything out from the ground up. Like most entrepreneurs, I learned quickly that passion is the spark, but perseverance keeps the fire going.
Building the team we have today has been a journey — one that takes patience, trust, and a lot of learning along the way. You start to understand what kind of people you want beside you — not just those with skill, but with heart. I feel incredibly grateful to work with a team that shares the same dedication to excellence and creativity.
Every challenge has taught me something valuable — about leadership, resilience, and staying true to my values. Those lessons continue to shape who we are as a company and how we show up for our clients every day.

Fusion Events is a full-service catering and event planning company built around one simple idea: every event should feel personal and unforgettable. We handle everything — catering, coordination, design, and production — for celebrations of all sizes, from intimate dinners to large-scale productions.
What sets us apart is our approach. We don’t just plan events; we create experiences that reflect the people at the center of them. Our chefs come from diverse backgrounds and bring global inspiration to every menu. We love blending flavors, styles, and cultures in ways that feel fresh, modern, and true to our clients’ stories.
But honestly, what makes Fusion truly special is our team. They care deeply — about the craft, the details, and the people we serve. We’ve built a culture rooted in creativity, collaboration, and heart, and I think that energy is what people feel when they work with us.
What are your plans for the future?
