Check out Erika Rojas’s Story | A Heart for Design, A Soul for Stories – 20 Years of Creativity with Purpose

Today we’d like to introduce you to Erika Rojas.

Hi Erika, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I started my business, ER Graphic Solutions, in 2005. At that time, I was living in San Francisco, California, and working for a magazine called Avance Magazine. A friend suggested that I register my business so I could offer my services to more clients. Following her advice, I did.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It’s been 20 years since I made the decision to become an entrepreneur, and it hasn’t been easy. First of all, I didn’t know how to run a business or use marketing strategies. My shy personality was also a challenge—I had a hard time selling, charging clients, or even telling people what I do for a living. It took me years to overcome my biggest enemy: myself and my insecurities, which kept my business stagnant for many years.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I offer graphic design and advertising services focused on small businesses. In addition to that, we also help writers publish their work through our consulting services for independent authors. I find great satisfaction in supporting entrepreneurs. I have a motto that says, ‘Helping your business grow is our mission,’ and it’s something we do with conviction and a passion for helping others—because being an entrepreneur myself, I understand their challenges and can relate to them. Seeing the success of other entrepreneurs truly brings me joy.

On another note, I take great pride in having created the book series Mujeres a Prueba de Fuego, an anthology that reflects the resilience and contributions of Hispanic women entrepreneurs in the United States. The series is now on its way to its fourth edition. Additionally, last year we created the first bilingual anthology of young writers, titled New Generation a Prueba de Fuego, a work that made history in the United States… and the saga will continue, more book editions to come in October 2025 (It is a surprise).

Is there anything else you’d like to share with our readers?
The most important thing when starting a business or becoming an entrepreneur is to do it with passion—everything else will follow. When we do something with love, knowing that it is our mission, difficult times may come, but we will always know there is a greater purpose that keeps us moving forward.

I believe in the power of the written word. There is a kind of magic in literature capable of transforming lives, families, and society. That is why it has become my mission to help other writers like myself make their dream of publishing a book come true, regardless of their age. I’ve helped writers as young as 8 and as old as 90. There are no limits or barriers when you have faith and intention.

My life mission is deeply rooted in the empowerment of women, because I know that when women are given power and tools, they flourish—and when a woman reaches her fullest potential, we all benefit. I admire the work of Melinda Gates, author of The Moment of Lift, a book that was truly eye-opening and reinforced my commitment to stay firm in my mission.
