Today we’d like to introduce you to Emily Alexandra Guglielmo.

Hi Emily, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.  
I started by going to the beach every weekend with my father, sister, and friends… 

And now I am a professional Mermaid that travels the globe performing mermaid shows! 

That’s where the idea can to fruition to create a water-resistant makeup line with SPF in it. 

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Been through so many… But one that sticks out, is rebranding and changing with the times. I have realized that is so important to stay ahead of the game. 

Follow your heart, and don’t go too big too quick. That was a huge learning curve for me. 

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am a free driver that can swim for 3 minutes. I am enjoy traveling the globe performing shows for people that truly believe in mermaids. 

I have a makeup line named Emily Alexandra Cosmetics ~A portion of every purchase goes to a nonprofit I founded called SupportingWater.org ~ It’s a foundation where I find & raise money to find Clean Water & Sustainability for emerging nations. 

I am known globally as The American Mermaid ~ 

Are there any important lessons you’ve learned that you can share with us?
To believe in myself no matter what! 

People will always judge ~ So do what makes you happy ~
