Check Out Eden Gamliel’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Eden Gamliel.

Hi Eden, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
When I was 14, I found out about voice acting and I just knew it was what I wanted to do. I found a class in a studio and convinced my parents to sign me up. After that I was cold calling studios until I got asked to do a voice for a character in an animated project, a very knowon channel, and from that moment on, I was hooked. There’s something about using your voice to bring a character to life that liberated me. It became my dream job, and here I am today, still loving it as much as I did back then.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
The road has definitely had its bumps. Breaking into voice acting wasn’t easy. I spent a lot of time sending demos and reaching out to studios every day, hoping for a response. When I got in the first time I made sure to meet everyone and be memorable. It was tough, and I got rejected a lot. There were times when I thought it wasn’t going to happen. But I kept at it, and eventually, I landed my first gig. That was a huge turning point for me. Looking back, I’m thankful for all those challenges because they taught me how to keep going and really appreciate where I am today.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I’ve worked on a ton of projects: movies, TV shows, video games, you name it. I’ve been lucky enough to work with big companies like Disney, Pixar, Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon, and Warner Bros. What sets me apart, I’d say, is how I approach my characters. I try to bring real emotion into every role I do. For me, it’s not just about making a cool or funny voice, it’s about connecting with the audience and making the character feel real, even if it’s a talking animal or a cartoon superhero. That’s what keeps me motivated to keep improving and keep pushing myself as a voice actor.

What are your plans for the future?
For now, continuing to do what I love. I’m working with a few different productions on new dubbing projects, so I’m super excited for those to come out. I’m always looking for new challenges and opportunities to grow as a voice actor. I’m just happy to keep working on fun, creative projects and see where it all goes!
