Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
My name is Diana Antillon, originally from the City of Juarez Chihuahua, Mexico but living here in the United States. The idea for my kids entertainment business actually came from a personal experience. When my daughter was younger I wanted to throw her a special birthday party. She loved princesses and all things magical, but there weren’t any places around that offered the kind of celebration I envisioned. The existing options were either super expensive and far away, or they weren’t creative or engaging for kids. My main priority was to create a fun and safe space, like home, where kids could have a blast with friends, participate in different activities, and learn while they play all without relying on technology. I wanted them to have experiences they’d remember fondly. My business is designed to fill that gap. We offer personalized themed celebrations that are affordable,accessible, and most importantly, tons of fun for the kids. Padme Tea Party is more than just a business, it’s a passion project. I am excited to continue growing and expanding, bringing the magic of childhood celebrations to more families in our community.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Initially, convincing parents there was a market for in-home, culturally-focused kids parties was a challenge. Many were accustomed to generic party venues or DIY options. As a new business, gaining the trust of parents and convincing them to allow me into their homes to host parties was an initial hurdle. Crafting engaging activities that were both educational and age-appropriate while still maintaining the fun and the theme was a learning process. Finding the right balance between offering unique, bespoke experiences and ensuring the business model was sustainable was a juggling act in the beginning.
Reaching out to the specific niche of parents with kids who desired a culturally-rich experience required targeted marketing strategies.

Using their imagination kids get to create different scenarios with building blocks and characters in the land of dinosaurs. They get to take all their creation home.

These packages are usually combined for a thrilling experience. Getting ready for the fashion show afterwards is always exciting!

Cupcakes, cakes or cookies can be decorated in this activity and enjoyed or taken home to share. Variety of colorful sprinkles and magical dust are provided.

Creative projects are performed in this activity using objects,articles or clothing for kids and a variety of tools.

Game on! We will play variety of games to get your little athletes moving and grooving! Themed kids table and chair set up for lunch/dinner included.

It’s not just about structured activities, I also incorporate free play time and games in between to keep them entertained and create lasting memories. Beyond the standard party fare, I’m known for my creativity. I come up with my own versions of classic games and activities, often incorporating the birthday child’s name or favorite theme character. Additionally, I always strive to do something special for the birthday kid, making them feel truly celebrated and the center of attention. That is why I’m there throughout the party and before the booking party I have a conversation with parents to fully understand what they would like and what their kid would enjoy.
