Hi Dalma, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I got here by understanding that your belief system is what determines not only how far you can go, but who you allow yourself to be regardless of what everyone else thinks.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The odds have never been in my favor but deep down, for some reason, I’ve always had an inner compass and strength that manages to pull me forward even when I feel I can’t do this anymore. Maybe it’s my dead dad, God, wanting to prove everyone wrong, or wanting to see more people who look, sound, and think like me on TV and in positions of power. Whatever that is, I’m grateful for all the bumps in the road because it’s made me… Dalma.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
As an artist, I am a professional actress, singer, and 6x award-winning filmmaker.
As a creative content producer, I specialize in making creative projects happen, optimizing budgets, and creating incredibly effective systems cemented on a yes-we-can mentality, that completely understands the strengths and weaknesses of the organization, team, and collaborators, to come up with the best way to reach milestones through out of box content strategies.
Whether it’s producing films, social videos, hosting e-learning content, acting in feature films, or singing in musicals, at 32, I have a 17-year multi-industry experience that informs the way I prioritize and make decisions.
What sets me apart is my unwavering commitment to excellence and my ability to adapt and innovate across various domains. I am most proud of the successful projects and satisfied collaborators from the corporate and artistic worlds who have benefited from my expertise, proving that creativity and strategic planning lead to remarkable results.
Where we are in life is often partly because of others. Who/what else deserves credit for how your story turned out?
To Gladys, for those early Saturday morning calls. To Speak and Develux, for supporting my 2024 and trusting in my creative and professional abilities. To my family, both of them, for accepting me, flaws and all. To my brother, for being my moral compass. And to the God of Art, for summoning my name at 6 and giving my life a purpose.
