Check Out Dallas Malloy’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Dallas Malloy.

Hi Dallas, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I’ve been in arts and athletics my whole life. As a kid I made boxing history as a teen after winning a discrimination lawsuit for the right to box – I became the first female to have a sanctioned amateur bout against another female in the U.S. I later portrayed myself in the opening of Jerry Maguire. Later on, a became a champion bodybuilder and personal trainer. Now my focus is primarily on the arts and coaching. I became a pianist at six and have performed and composed music since. Recently I produced five original songs and four music videos. As an actor and voice artist, I’ve done multiple tv, film and stage projects. I’m putting together a podcast to utilize my expertise on faith, freedom, fitness, and being vegan.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Haha – smooth road – what’s that? I’ve always gone against the grain – not intentionally, I’m just internally driven and sometimes it matches what the rest are doing but most often, not. Being a competitive athlete is always tough but that’s what makes it great and worthwhile. I like being disciplined, continually pushing the envelope and developing mental muscle along with the physical. It carries over into all aspects of life. Being a musician and actor are tough by nature because of the mental torture that often accompanies the paradox of a driven mind and passionate heart. But again, following the internal direction has never been optional. I’ve learned to be comfortable being uncomfortable. I’d rather become great than have a smooth ride.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I created an online course called Simply Vegan Spiritual Life – helping people of faith go vegan and increase their God connection. As a coach I love bringing in all my expertise to serve – I’m a NASM Certified Personal Trainer, Wellness Coach and Holistic Nutritionist. I’ve been a vegan since 2017. I’ve been in recovery from drugs and alcohol for many years, which has given me many gifts to help and share with others. My experiences in recovery, training 1500+ clients and being a competitive athlete give me so much to be able to tailor completely unique programs for people, be intuitive and empathetic, and provide invaluable insight and strategies to help change their lives dramatically.

Before we go, is there anything else you can share with us?
Thank God for animals – they soften the hard edges in life, bringing joy, beauty and playfulness – they exemplify unconditional love and living in the present.
