Check Out Anouk Aumont’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Anouk Aumont.

Hi Anouk, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I’ve been tattooing in Los Angeles for about four years now. Los Angeles has provided me with so much inspiration and I’ve created long-lasting friendships here. Looking forward to seeing where and what is next!

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The biggest obstacle I’ve found being a freelance artist is remembering to take care of myself and give myself the time to re-boot and create honest work. I’ve been so blessed with a lot of work and sometimes the hardest thing is to step away, but that’s when my work is elevated when I allow myself to set boundaries!

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I am a hand-poke tattoo artist, and I also paint, illustrate, draw, and sculpt!

Do you have recommendations for books, apps, blogs, etc?
I love this question because as of late, I’ve been reading a lot of incredible work.
