Check Out Anelle Tarke’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Anelle Tarke.

Anelle Tarke

Hi Anelle, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
As early as I can remember I’ve always wanted to be an entertainer so truly my story starts from childhood but it wasn’t until 2020 that I posted my first tiktok video and it went viral. That’s what jumpstarted my career as an entertainer!

I’d post a variety of content from comedy to my music, lifestyle, fashion, etc. just a mix of showcasing who I am. Which led to me getting my first brand deal with Hero Cosmetics. From there, I was able to work with multiple brands, big and small. Work with social media apps directly making content for them and then moving to LA to continue making content for brands and clients.

In the mix of this, I started releasing music on all streaming platforms. A mix of pop, rnb and soon-to-come afrobeats. I’ve loved my journey and moving to LA was the best thing I could’ve done for my career. I’m so grateful to be able to continue to chase my dreams in this city.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
I think every journey will have bumps in the road, that’s just life! I always say that the good has definitely outweighed the bad and I take the bad as learning experiences along the way. That way when I get further in my journey I won’t make the same mistakes so I take everything as an opportunity to grow.

You will meet people who may not have your best interest at heart. You will meet people that will try to make you feel small. You’ll end up in situations you never thought you’d be in, but I believe it’s all a part of the journey. As long as you know who you are and trust in yourself, you’ll make it through every situation.

Even when it feels like it might be life-crushing, know that you’ll live to see another day and it will get better. I always say even when I feel like I’m shit out of luck, I never truly am. God got me and I trust that His plan for me will always prevail!

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I am an artist, content creator, model and actress. I like to say I’m an all-around entertainer because I want to be able to do it all!

Right now, my main focuses are music and content. I’m so proud of the portfolio I’ve built making content for different brands and clients in LA. Working with clients like Taraji P Henson and Tia Mowry was very inspiring. To see Black women who have dominated this industry and to understand how hard they work behind the scenes made me so full of hope for the type of career I want to have.

I’m also super thankful to have performed on stage for the first time in four years thanks to the Creative Futures Collective x Soho House mentorship program. Being a mentee in the program is something I’m so proud of and I’m so grateful it gave me the opportunity to do what I love most in the world which is being on stage.

I believe what sets me apart from others is my versatility. I don’t want to be known for just one thing. I always say my peak dream is to be EGOT status. There’s so much in life that I want to accomplish through my creativity and I believe being a Jack of all trades isn’t a bad thing!

Is there anything else you’d like to share with our readers?
I just dropped my latest single “I Look Good” on all streaming platforms under my name Anelle Tarke. I’d love for you all to go give it a listen and be on the lookout for new music top of next year. Nothing but hits coming your way.
