Check Out Andrew Olszewski’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Andrew Olszewski.

Hi Andrew, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I’m just a small-town Michigan guy that found his way out to LA. I’ve always looked at video and film as a way to express myself. As I grew up, I realized I needed a new environment to really be able to express myself, so I went to school in Chicago. After school, I would say just by fate and a couple of years of thinking about what I really wanted, I decided to take the risk and pack my dog and I up and drive out here to LA.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
If anyone’s journey has been smooth, I would say you’re missing out on some amazing opportunities to grow. My path has been anything but smooth, but I welcome the challenge. From moving out to LA right before the pandemic, which changed the day to day of everyone’s lives, to more interpersonal challenges. But I have learned to embrace the struggle. I can only control what I can control, and that’s what I try to remember when things get overwhelming. And have to also thank my family, girlfriend, and friends for all of the support. I’m blessed to have the support system that I do have.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I would consider myself a creative first and a business owner second. I started the company Good LLC. Better known as Good x Studios. I love telling the story of others, and my first passion is creating visuals and stories for individuals that have something to share. This ranges from musicians to painters to business owners. I like working with people that are passionate because if someone is passionate about what they do, it makes creating a film for them that much more exciting. My team and I have transitioned to music videos as well. Music videos are amazing simply because it’s always an opportunity to flex some creative muscles and collaborate with others. I care about the person I’m creating for and want to form lasting relationships with each creative I work with.

What do you like and dislike about the city?
Coming from Michigan, I can’t even begin to explain how amazing the weather is. On the flip side, I really never understood how bad traffic could be. But this is a city of people that are passionate about what they do. So many people come out here chasing a dream and that’s a pretty cool place to be.
