Today we’d like to introduce you to Adetola Adejokun.
Hi Adetola, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I started off making music online at about fifteen/sixteen. From there, I collaborated with a lot of different artists through SoundCloud and then eventually all streaming platforms. I feel like I was really young with no guidance in the middle of a place where art wasn’t celebrated. Over time being able to incorporate art into my full-time career has become a possibility that got easier to navigate.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
I feel like the biggest struggle would be financially especially starting off. I really have to section of income to have fun with because otherwise, it’s all gone reinvesting in my art and bills.

What sort of changes are you expecting over the next 5-10 years?
Definitely more eclectic sounds that you wouldn’t think go together that go together.
