Check Out Abigail Carver’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Abigail Carver.

Hi Abigail, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I grew up in Central Florida and got into film and acting in high school. I went to New York Film Academy for acting for two years before dropping out. I’ve been living in LA now for a few years and just in the last year or so have started working in film and TV production on and off and have had the opportunity to have some short films made with the production company I worked with, Ramirez Creations.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It’s been a road with many detours I guess. I struggled in school, which is one of the reasons I dropped out. I only really got back into making things for real in the last year or so.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I’m a filmmaker and singer/songwriter. I’m most proud of being able to make short films and be a part of the community here making their own art.

We all have a different way of looking at and defining success. How do you define success?
For me: success will mean making a livable wage through my art.
