Check Out Aaniya Symone Hutchins’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Aaniya Symone Hutchins.

Hi Aaniya Symone , so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
Aaniya Symone Hutchins is a “Texas-made, and Cali – raised” upcoming artist and writer. My melodic style reflects my love for artist like; Tupac, Missy Elliott, Drake, J Cole, Nicki Minaj and Rihanna to name a few. My favorite quote is, “No such thing as a life that’s better than yours” said by J. Cole from Love Yourz. I write and perform my own music and plan to share my writing talents with upcoming and rising artist of today. I have been inspired by music since I was three years of age. I was born in Dallas, Texas.  I moved to Southern, California in 2014 at the age of twelve. I started writing my own music and rapping to different tunes at an early age. I have written over ten songs including the theme song (Don’t Embarrass Me), for the Netflix series starring Jamie Foxx called, “Dad Stop Embarrassing Me”. My goal is to release my own EP.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It hasn’t always been easy but I have managed to keep moving forward. It can be very challenging at times trying to elevate creation of music. I am always trying to think outside of the box and be a positive voice as well for listeners. I continue to keep my head up and look forward to learning new things everyday.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I have written music in the past for fun and collaborated with my cousins in creating musical tracks. In 2016 I performed in front of a live audience at the “Ladylike Foundation’s 8th Annual Women of Excellence Luncheon.” In 2020 I began to revisit my writing skills along with the recordings of my own music. I have dropped multiple singles since the and plan on dropping a EP. I am most proud of my journey to stay strong and positive. I see a bright future ahead and know that it won’t all be easy but that’s what sets me apart from others. I’m very confident with my talents and look forward to the highs and lows.

What are your plans for the future?
My future is full of blessings and success. What that looks like to me is being able to become one of the biggest upcoming independent artists. This will consist of performing more throughout the year, and getting my first hit song which means there will be a lot of sleepless nights.
