Check Out Kristopher Turner’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kristopher Turner.

Hi Kristopher, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
The modern era of music has given way to enigmas and artists of all shapes and forms who break the norm of what we have come to expect as far as what an artist truly is. Holiday is one such artist that epitomizes the essence of the modern era. He is a multi-talented vocalist from Los Angeles. Holiday is making music that is driven by a desire to motivate, inspire, comfort and spread love and joy to all those that hear it. Born Kristopher Turner, Holiday is the embodiment of originality and uses his hallmarks of slow tempo production and dark undertones to create an amalgamated and original sound. Holiday has had a vast array of musical influences however he accredits the pivotal influences and inspiration in his life to Soundbynight, Che Ecru and Partynextdoor. This all culminates in Holiday producing a musical experience that is enjoyable, easy going but also authentic and grounded in reality. It is music that is infused with relatable and therapeutic narratives to allow for an immersive experience that brings feelings of nostalgia and reflection. His overarching ambition is to create something that’s different unique and memorable. Holiday has an album and a single in his repertoire namely “Vacayomo” (Album) and “Blow Me Up” (Single) and he will be releasing more music that will showcase his lyricism in a uniquely constructed piece of musical artistry. His music can be described as dark, soothing, and melancholic and it encapsulates his identity holistically. His sound exhibits his versatility and prowess and will surely cement his style as well as pave the way for the varied expressions of his musical ideas and artistic craft. This is the music that will push the boundaries of our perception as well as inspire and drive us to introspective conversations. R&B has needed a new message for a long time and now it is finally here! As long as artists like Holiday exist and his story and voice is heard then this is the music that may not change the world but can change the people in the world.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
Just getting started with my career and finding my own sound.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I do just about everything and anything that involves music. I play guitar and piano. I mix and master all my own music as well as record myself in my home studio. I collaborate on beats with my friends as I am improving my production skills. I also am a self-taught singer and am working on improving my vocals to give my fans a more polished sound.

Is there anyone you’d like to thank or give credit to?
PRETTY UGLY RECORDS and everyone involved. They know who they are. My team pushes me to create and to continue getting better. They are the only support system I need.
