Check out Jeff Victor’s Artwork

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jeff Victor.

Jeff, we’d love to hear your story and how you got to where you are today both personally and as an artist.
I’ve always loved to draw. Creating ‘fan art’ as early as 3-4 years old of Superman, Batman, and other favorite heroes, I knew I wanted to be a cartoonist when I grew up. My art came out of my love of movies, comics, and pop culture. I took art classes in High School and college, but in my spare time, I always found joy in drawing my own stylized representations of my favorite characters. After college, I worked for many places like Hallmark, Nickelodeon, Warner Bros Animation, Cartoon Network, Hasbro, and ABC Mouse, but I still find time to do my fan art, which people seem to really enjoy. (But not as much as I enjoy doing it.)

We’d love to hear more about your art. What do you do you do and why and what do you hope others will take away from your work?
I make art to make people smile. Hopefully, the combination of cute faces and nostalgia makes people say “Awww”. I do original characters as well as fan art, mostly cute kids and animals, so I’m aiming to just put out a little cuteness and joy into the world.

How can artists connect with other artists?
I find a lot of artists through Facebook, and find them at comic cons to create a personal connection.
