Bella Ehrhart of Los Angeles CA on Life, Lessons & Legacy

Bella Ehrhart shared their story and experiences with us recently and you can find our conversation below.

Hi Bella, thank you for taking the time to reflect back on your journey with us. I think our readers are in for a real treat. There is so much we can all learn from each other and so thank you again for opening up with us. Let’s get into it: What do you think is misunderstood about your business?
One thing that I think is often misunderstood about my business is just how much work goes on behind the scenes. At 21, people sometimes assume my jewelry brand is just a hobby or something I do casually, but in reality, I run every part of it myself, from designing pieces, managing orders, creating content, handling customer service, social media and keeping track of finances. It’s not just about making something pretty; it’s about building a brand and delivering a meaningful experience to every customer. I think people would be surprised by how much strategy, time, and dedication goes into bringing each piece to life.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is Bella Ehrhart, and I am the owner and creative director behind Heaven Sentt. What makes my brand unique is the intention behind every design: I create pieces that are meaningful, wearable, and accessible, so people can express their style without sacrificing quality. Building this business from the ground up has been such an important part of my personal story, and I’m currently focused on expanding my collections, elevating my designs, and growing a brand that people feel connected to.

Amazing, so let’s take a moment to go back in time. Who taught you the most about work?
The people who taught me the most about work are my parents. Watching them balance so many responsibilities and still show up with strength and resilience shaped the way I approach everything I do. They taught me that hard work isn’t just about staying busy—it’s about being disciplined, committed, and willing to push through challenges even when things get tough. A lot of the drive I put into my jewelry business comes from seeing their dedication and learning that nothing meaningful is built overnight.

If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
If I could say one kind thing to my younger self, it would be: “Trust yourself.” I’d remind her that all the uncertainty, the self-doubt, and the pressure to have everything figured out will eventually make sense. I’d tell her that her creativity is a strength, and that the risks she’s scared to take now will lead her to opportunities she can’t even imagine yet. Most of all, I’d tell her to be gentle with herself—she’s doing better than she thinks.

So a lot of these questions go deep, but if you are open to it, we’ve got a few more questions that we’d love to get your take on. What would your closest friends say really matters to you?
My closest friends would say that what really matters to me is creating something meaningful and staying true to myself. They see how much love and effort I pour into my brand, but they also know I care deeply about the people around me. They’d tell you I value loyalty, independence, and growth—both personal and professional. Whether it’s my business, my relationships, or my goals, I always try to show up with intention and heart.

Okay, so let’s keep going with one more question that means a lot to us: Could you give everything your best, even if no one ever praised you for it?
Yes, I absolutely could—and I already do. As a young business owner, I’ve learned that you have to be driven by your own standards, not by praise or recognition. When I’m designing jewelry, packaging orders, or planning the next step for my brand, I’m giving my best because I believe in what I’m building. Praise is nice, but it can’t be the reason you show up. What keeps me going is knowing that my work reflects who I am—my creativity, my discipline, and my vision. Even if no one were watching, I’d still give everything my best, because that’s the only way to grow.
