India, so good to connect and we’re excited to share your story and insights with our audience. There’s a ton to learn from your story, but let’s start with a warm up before we get into the heart of the interview. What battle are you avoiding?
Honestly, the battle I catch myself avoiding sometimes is slowing down. As a creative and a business owner, I’m constantly moving, building, and creating but taking a step back to rest or strategize can feel uncomfortable. I’m learning that rest doesn’t mean I’m losing momentum; it actually gives me more clarity to keep growing.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
India J Designs is a creative design studio specializing in bold, elevated branding and graphic design for beauty, fashion, and lifestyle businesses. Known for blending modern aesthetics with strategic visuals, India J Designs helps brands stand out through intentional design that captures attention and builds identity. From logos and flyers to full brand experiences, the studio is dedicated to bringing each client’s vision to life with excellence, creativity, and style.

Okay, so here’s a deep one: Who saw you clearly before you could see yourself?
My mom. She’s always seen my potential long before I fully recognized it in myself. She’s been my biggest supporter and the one who constantly reminded me of what I’m capable of, even in moments when I couldn’t see it clearly.

If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
I’d tell her, ‘Trust your vision and stop dimming your light to make others comfortable. Everything you dream of is possible , don’t second-guess yourself.

Sure, so let’s go deeper into your values and how you think. What are the biggest lies your industry tells itself?
One of the biggest lies is that success happens overnight or that everything has to look perfect from the start. In reality, building a solid brand takes time, strategy, and a lot of behind-the-scenes work. Another lie is that design is just about making things ‘look cute’ when in truth, good design is strategic, intentional, and plays a major role in how a brand grows

Before we go, we’d love to hear your thoughts on some longer-run, legacy type questions. If you retired tomorrow, what would your customers miss most?
They’d miss the intentionality and personal touch I bring to every project. I don’t just design I help bring their vision to life in a way that feels authentic to their brand. My clients know I genuinely care about their growth, and that level of dedication is something they truly value
