Bazz, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Growing up as a kid from the inner city, urban music has been a part of my upbringing since I was a jit. People ask, “when did you start rapping?” But growing up in an urban environment, we started rapping when we were young. Who didn’t grow up in middle / high school freestyling with their friends, siblings, and kids in the neighborhood? As far as making music with intention to present it to a public audience, I would say I started rapping in 2018.

2024: The Good Girl Tape Vol. 1, is my most recent project. It is a bundle of soliloquies that tell a short story of love & admiration from a man to a woman. A groovy, feel good offering of JAMz.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Of course it hasn’t been a smooth road. Some of my main struggles have been understanding my brand, and how I want to most authentically present myself to someone who would only know me as an artist and not a person, or a man.
Once I got a better understanding of who I am, figuring out how to communicate that to my audience became clear. I’m genuinely a good guy. I’m not perfect, but my intent and demonstration come from a place of respect and decency. So, the way I live life translates into the stories I tell in my music.

What do you do?: I do good within my community, and I rap sometimes.

What do you specialize in?: I specialize in communication, and making JAMz.

What are you known for?: Who’s asking?

What are you most proud of?: I am most proud of my lifelong loved ones telling me they’re proud of me.

What are your plans for the future?
My plan is to continue to evolve and increase the impact of my artistic expression. I’m looking forward to the moment where my team and I have the resources to execute all the ideas we’ve been nurturing over the years.
