Today we’d like to introduce you to Megha Sarpal.
Megha, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
When I was 5 years old, I use to watch Bollywood movies on TV and go crazy about the fashion and the colors they use wear. I would always think that one day I would design my own colorful clothes and wear them to see how I look. So while I was growing up I made this as a hobby and passion to design my own clothes.
This was when I made this passion into a business venture and started by own brand named “MANAS by Megha”.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
There were lot of struggles along the way to deal with different kind of customers with all having different requests for their own specific designs and colors. It was very difficult to compete in the Indian market and the customer base.
Please tell us about RMS Fashions.
We specialize in custom designing Indian Attire. I use high quality fabric along with high quality workmanship with very unique designs that are very hard to make. I cater all sizes from medium to 2x. I am very proud that people really appreciate my work and when they tell me that they cannot find the quality and the design with other business in my area.
Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
Dreaming of designing my own clothes.
