Today we’d like to introduce you to Annette Hoegner

Hi Annette, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I started my business after leaving the fashion industry in 2005. I needed to find a career that allowed me to be available for my children during the week and still let me be creative. In September of 2005 I started researching what it took to become a certified wedding planner and Classic Touch Events was born. I am happy to say that I am still at it 19 years later. A lot has changed over the years with technology and trends. I have enjoyed evolving with the times and being a resource for my clients.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
At the beginning it was hard to break in to the wedding industry and to consistently make enough money to leave my part time food serving job that I took transitioning out of the fashion industry. It took about 3 years of having to do both jobs before I was able to make the leap to full time event planning. Another struggle was adjusting to the highs and lows of wedding season. Some months were very busy and some brought in little to no events so it was difficult to predict monthly income but over time I got into the flow of it.

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Classic Touch Events?
Classic Touch Weddings and Events is a Southern California based wedding and event planning company that strives to make every wedding and event as unique, memorable and cost effective as possible. Our wedding and event coordinators are accredited through the Association of Bridal Consultants and intend to uphold all of the ethics and principles that the association stands for. We do our best to have a unique proactive customer service policy instead of a reactive policy. All of this in hopes of anticipating your every need before you know you need it. We specialize in destination weddings, Temecula Vineyard Weddings and also serve all of Riverside County, Inland Empire, Orange County, Los Angeles and San Diego Counties.

Where we are in life is often partly because of others. Who/what else deserves credit for how your story turned out?
Classic Touch Events is honored to be referred by several venues and fellow wedding/event vendors over the years. We absolutely couldn’t have done it without them as well as our team of wedding planners. Though it has changed over the years every single planner we have had on staff has been an invaluable asset to our team. I am grateful for each of them as well as our clients that have trusted us to plan their special events. It has truly been a blessing to meet so many amazing people along the way.
