Daily Inspiration: Meet Marsaille Wells

Today we’d like to introduce you to Marsaille Wells.

Hi Marsaille, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I moved to California for singing and acting around 11-12 years old! I started to sing and act and booked a couple of commercials! While I was in California, I was able to be a part of so many great experiences, like film commercials with Walmart, Pizza Hut, Apple, and more! I started to become more of a fashionista! I have a major in fashion for passion. Fun fact: my favorite color is pink. My huge dream is to be on Broadway. I’ve seen about six or more Broadway shows. My first one was The Lion King. I’ve also seen Wicked and Hamilton this year in the West End in London. I’ve seen once on this island, Anastasia and School of Rock! Also, another dream of mine! I would love to be in a Barbie animation movie, Marvel, and a cute Netflix rom-com-like Life with the Walter Boys.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It hasn’t been easy, but it definitely hasn’t been hard! I would say the biggest challenge is to stay consistent with acting. Refining your skills and being able to continue more work. As actors and singers, we are all inventors so the question comes up if you should make your own show? Script? Company?

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I love singing! I’ve made two professional songs! One called shine on butterfly when I was 13 I made that song and one I made recently in 2023 is a song called two steps back! I also produced the music video! I really have a passion for music, and I want to make more music! I just need to meet the right people to make it more often! I’m also Christian, so I loveeeee Jesus! I wanna become a worship singer I have a couple songs I’ve already made that’s in my songwriting journal called Prettiest, Soften my heart like sweet honey, Romeo, Romance, etc! I know that Jesus will guide me to release those songs!

What do you like and dislike about the city?
I like that our city has so many fun things to do and so many amazing different types of people! I love how we have so many places to go, like Universal, Disney, Six Flags, comedy shows, and studios. There is so much access. I wish our city had more help in wanting to help upcoming actresses and singers. Like back in the day, they would believe in an actress and make music, and money would come later. I wish people would help out and have lending help. So I would say more inspiration and more positive community.
