Life & Work with Khayla Connor

Today we’d like to introduce you to Khayla Connor.

Khayla Connor

Hi Khayla, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Believe it or not, my career started when I was 17 in a prom dress shop. The woman Ciera who worked there, convinced me I had would it took to be a Runway model. And a few weeks after I was casted for RVAFW in my hometown I’m Virginia. With absolutely no experience in the Industry at the time. This moment would change my life for the better. Now I reside in California as a signed model and published in multiple magazines, TV shows, and music videos.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
This road has not been easy at all, but I’m humbled and gracious to face the obstacles that I’ve overcome… Though a lot of times we compare our lives to where other peers are in theirs. We forget we are exactly where we are supposed to be in God’s Individual plan for us. And with all faith in God, and southern hustle I’m ready to face more that come and handle them with grace.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m a Signed Model. And I specialize is all aspects of a creative. From modeling, Model Coaching, creativity directing, fashion design, and content creation. I’m most proud of honestly everything I’ve done with my career. I went from thinking I could only do runway. To stepping out of that box and being a creative in a whole. I think what sets me apart from everyone else is my determination and my need/want to help others because the things and tools I have and know now we’re not just handed to me.

Any big plans?
I will be starting coaching soon for the LA area. As well as just for there my career to go international for runway and print.
