Today we’d like to introduce you to Rae Allen.
Hi Rae, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Hello – I’m Rae a wardrobe stylist, shopper and athlete in LA. My journey has definitely evolved over the years and it took a lot for me to get to where I am today. I am grateful for this journey and absolutely love what I do. The passion behind my career has allowed me to run with it. From shopping for looks for a shoot to being on set to sourcing a luxury bag. I take pride in what I do, and it shows.
Originally from Ohio, I moved to Los Angeles to attend college at FIDM for Fashion Design + Product Development. I have worked in the fashion industry since 15 years old while working in a variety of different capacities from retail, fashion design, product marketing and styling.
Currently, I am a stylist working in TV/Film, Commercial, Editorial and E-commerce. Working with brands like Nike, Off-White, Jordan Brand, Ifit, Nordstrom and more. I have always loved mixing fashion + sport. Over the pandemic, I found my niche – styling professional athletes for commercials and workout videos. Even worked on a series filmed on Mt. Everest that was nominated for a Sports Emmy.
As a shopper, I am able to shop anywhere for a specific project, production, shoot or personal style. I would definitely say my strongest skill set (and what I love most) is being able to source and shop on any budget for the right items to tell the story. Being a shopper has allowed me to step into building out a designer resale business offering vintage, designer and luxury items that I sell on Poshmark.
Aside from styling, I have organically started working with brands on content creation becoming known for my style: pink hair and Nike sneakers. I never thought posting photos of my looks and workouts early on would evolve to working with many brands on content creation and events. To speaking at Poshmark’s Fashion + Entrepreneurial conference to running the New York City Marathon with Michelob Ultra to being on a digital billboard for Nike and livestreaming shopping events for ShopShops.
I absolutely love what I do… I love shopping, I love creating beautiful images, I love challenging myself and I love inspiring + empowering others. Extremely grateful to live an authentic life doing something I love. Here’s to stepping into your authentic self and finding your confidence along the way.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
If you haven’t noticed, I actually welcome challenges as I know they will only make me stronger and show me massive growth. At the end of the day – I will always go the extra mile for my clients and for myself.
The biggest lesson I have learned was to never give up on myself. I had so many obstacles against me, but I kept pushing and became so resilient. If it weren’t for those challenges I wouldn’t be where I am today.
Being a stylist – it’s 24/7 and I love what I do. Working in Hollywood there’s always going to be an immense amount of pressure to “look the part” When I first started, I was dressing how I thought I should dress. However, when I started dressing as my authentic self and showing up as her, that’s when the jobs started rolling in. This applied to how I styled my clients.
I’ve learned to follow what sets your soul on fire, strive to empower others along the way and don’t ever compare yourself to others. Blaze your own authentic trail and keep showing up.
It’s not about the destination – it’s about the journey along the way. We define our own version of success, and to me it’s being able to find work doing something I love.

As a luxury shopper, I help you find luxury pieces to have in your closet for the rest of your life. From a vintage Louis Vuitton to a classic Chanel, to that Balmain Blazer. This service is offered as a request.
Being influential in the world of styling and sport, I have stepped foot in front of the camera or under the bright lights to host, film or speak on style and/or motivation. From hosting fashion shows, filming live shopping events, speaking at conferences.

Is there anything else you’d like to share with our readers?
When I am not working you will find me pushing my personal endurance and testing my strength at the gym. IRONMAN triathlete on a 3055+ day run streak and currently training for a bikini competition.
I truly believe training has built my strong mind, resilience and extreme ambition, which allows me to be a better stylist. The lessons I have learned from training I bring into my daily life. If I can inspire one person to find their strength or step into their style, I know I am on the right path.
