A lifestyle boutique service specializing in wholesale distribution. From a modest setting surrounded by classic architecture full of old world charm.

THE JOURNEY

The Historic Spreckels Theatre Building was the home of the initial launch.

Expanding the company, the next move was right into the heart of the Los Angeles Fashion District in the coveted California Market Center (The CMC).

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The road has defiantly not been easy. As an entrepreneur, building her business without an upfront investment was tough, but with time proved not impossible. Working a full-time job building a career in the telecommunication field, that after twenty years, she would trade in to immerse herself in her lifelong love of fashion and beauty.

With the upside of building and running your own business, there is no escaping the downside. Experiencing firsthand how important mental health and total wellness is, she would find herself traveling through a dark path that at times would defer her progress. Working through her own trauma with experts in restorative practices, holistic healing and somatic therapy, she pushed through with much support and fierce tenacity to create and manifest her dream of building and running her own business.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
As the founder of DZNR CHIC Boutique a wholesale company specializing in women’s contemporary fashion, my initial experiences of the ups and downs of business and life nearly took its toll. Not willing to give up, I pushed through with much support and fierce tenacity to create and realize my dream of building and running my own business. The support I received helped me work through my own trauma with experts in restorative practices, holistic healing and somatic therapy, it truly left a profound impression on me.

Throughout my success, I have always stayed true to my belief of giving back in the style of what I call “full circle.” Having a first-hand account of some of the challenges women in business face and a resource list of experts to support my endeavors, I developed and implemented workshops in places like the YWCA, San Diego and Dress For Success Worldwide-West, working with women entrepreneurs, transitioning to different stages of life, some experiencing homelessness and domestic violence.

Have you learned any interesting or important lessons due to the Covid-19 Crisis?
The Covid-19 crisis was a hard time to maneuver through. So many emotions I was forced to face and it seemed all at once. The loss of loved ones and not being able to be present because of the mandatory lockdown. More than ever, I utilized my resources to be well.

There were so many life lessons in supporting and protecting my mental health that would become routine even in business. Making sure to keep the importance of mental health and being well at the forefront of how I work and run my business and encouraging my clients to do the same.
