Conversations with Ashley Kermani

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ashley Kermani.

Hi Ashley, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
After graduating from UCLA back in 2019, I realized the love I have for making connections and meeting new people while I was working at Adidas. I realized quickly I am very passionate about making life-long relationships and thought I would get into the Real Estate Business and get my license as my family has been in the business for a while. During the early stages of Covid, I got my real estate license and began working. I then discovered the importance of social media for promoting myself as an agent, while the world was on pause the real estate market was hot. I then came across Zentap, an automated social media marketing company for realtors! I started working as an account manager while still doing real estate!

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It has definitely not been a smooth road, but more like a roller coaster! Once I finally got my Real Estate License during the pandemic. It was very difficult starting a new career as an agent especially when the market was on fire. Homes were selling over asking, in multiple offers and non-contingent. Keep in mind at the time I had no idea what any of this meant! The first few months were very difficult, but I did not give up. I learned that being an Agent is more than just showing clients homes and writing offers. It takes time, patience, and most importantly consistency. Shortly after, I represented a buyer in purchasing a commercial property. I was on cloud-9. My hard work finally paid off and I was on a roll. I did face many challenges because as an agent you don’t get paid until the escrow is closed. With the help of my brother, I faced all the difficult bumps throughout my first year as an agent. I learned many important lessons. The first being, good things take time and patience is a very important quality to have. I then learned how important it is for Realtors to promote themselves as much as possible. On Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and Google. From this, I found my way to Zentap.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
Zentap enables real estate agents to thrive with software that streamlines their real estate marketing to help gain more leads and close more business. Becoming a Real Estate Agent myself back when the pandemic started in 2020, everything I thought I knew about Real Estate changed. From door knocking and cold calling for 8 hours straight, people were not responding due to the pandemic. I then discovered Zentap, which helped me in too many ways to count. Zentap helps Realtors with their marketing. They have created a dashboard that automates content on Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Google My Business, and even Lead Generation! They have amazing branded infomercials that are Real Estate related as well as local market reports for your desired area you are targeting. Overall, Zentap offers easy and affordable marketing solutions to one of the fastest-growing industries. Zentap helps agents all over the US!

Is there something surprising that you feel even people who know you might not know about?
Something surprising about me is I am a huge sneakerhead! I think I have around 150 pairs of sneakers! My all-time favorite shoes right now would have to be any Nike Dunks. They are very comfortable and can be dressed up or down. They also come in every possible color! You will always see me around Melrose area trying on new kicks!
