Meet Amanda Tewes of Faria Social

Today we’d like to introduce you to Amanda Tewes.

Hi Amanda, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
After college, I worked in different industries to get experience and see what I enjoyed the most. I have always been interested in social media and began working for a digital marketing company as an intern. I was eventually hired by the company as a Marketing Coordinator, but when Covid-19 hit in March 2020 I was let go. So, I began Faria Social!

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
No, it has definitely not been a smooth road. But that’s okay because I’ve learned a lot and grown immensely as a professional and a person!

Faria is a boutique creative agency dedicated to all things social. We specialize in working with local businesses to expand their reach and brand awareness on social media while building their community. We’re known for the personal care that we show each of our clients and for helping businesses put their best foot forward on socials in a way that reflects their true brand identities. We are very proud of the diverse range of businesses we have the opportunity to work with!

Do you have any memories from childhood that you can share with us?
Most of my favorite childhood memories come from when I played soccer competitively. I started playing when I was in elementary school and continued on through college where I earned a scholarship to play at Oregon State. Go Beavs!
