Today we’d like to introduce you to Eden Park.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Palette Creamery was founded from our love of ice cream; from the passion of searching for unique, intricate flavors and the hunger to satisfy particular cravings. Each flavor from Palette has gone through many rounds of experimentation and the final combinations are all intentional. It all started from wanting to satisfy my own cravings and we’ve shared our creations with hundreds of people since!
Where we are now…
Below are our staple flavors and their breakdowns below:
Earl Grey Lavender — We’ve balanced the classically bold notes of Earl Grey tea with the softness of lavender and honey, each bite marrying together in perfect harmony.
Vietnamese Coffee with Rose — the undeniable richness of Vietnamese coffee is paired with the subtle, resting accents of Rose that rounds out that coffee kick, creating a delicious and approachable take on the caffeine-rich flavor.
Japanese S’mores — Its base is created from the creaminess yet lightness of Japanese chocolate with hidden bites of hand-torched mini-marshmallows and hints of cinnamon graham cracker for a complex and rewarding experience.
CCC —Cookie butter, Coffee and Chocolate Chips provide your senses with a bite that satisfies each individual craving under the convenience of a single flavor; you’ll be able to taste each main ingredient while relishing in its perfectly layered ensemble.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
There were definitely many more challenges in the beginning. Making Ice cream is a science that takes a mixture of raw solids and liquids, turning them into a liquid blend, then finally back into a solid that hopefully won’t melt! I did a lot of experimenting at first, with many trails that didn’t work out and thinking I would have to resort to flavors that were simple and easy. Through a lot of research, experimenting and spilled ice cream, I feel like I’ve now found my footing in ingredients and flavors that excite me. And since I’m now admitting to being an ice cream nerd, even its textural consistency and overall complexity as a food type keep me inspired!
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
Palette Creamery is a marriage of my love for art and ice cream. This union has taken over my life in so many ways and I love that. It’s helped me to choose and explore my personal and professional creativity. I am most proud of where Palette is at now as a company and how it continues to evolve.
“Palette Creamery” is a play-on-words with your tasting palate as well as the artist’s palette. I wanted to highlight the beauty in the process of painting and ice cream making while helping others appreciate ice cream on a much deeper level—there are layers to not just the flavors but in the craft itself.
We like to think that our blend of unique yet familiar flavors and healthy ingredients, as well as our community of creative customers, are what sets us apart. Each pint is made to order and also carefully curated for each person.
Before we go, is there anything else you can share with us?
You can find us at events and pop-ups, or you can order directly from our website where we also sell our merch and other goodies. Pupsicles are sold exclusively at pop-ups, and mini pints are only made for events. If you have any questions feel free to send us an email or slide into our dms.
