Today we’d like to introduce you to Miraló Moon.

Hi Miraló, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I think it is essential and a necessity to showcase people of color and people who are lgbtq+ to really create a different narrative. Help change the perception and systemic issues we have encountered me and many others for being Mexican for being gay. I wanna show the world that anything is possible no matter who you are. I wanna show my people and all people that I am me and that Mexicans aren’t only this and that and also being gay is not just a square box. We are capable of everything and anything. I am in the perfect headspace. I want someone to see me on tv/AD and say, wow I look like him. He is Latino, he is Mexican. He is proud to be who he is and he is representing us. Because we are so underrepresented especially being Mexican and I wanna show the world that no matter who you are, no matter what your look is, what your background is YOU CAN achieve ANYTHING! Born and raised in San Jose, CA! BAY AREA woot woot represent. I’m proud to be Mexican. Grew up in a traditional Catholic home and learned some beautiful life lessons. I love to pour passion into this world and I’m ready to share it with all of you!

If there is anything I would not follow through with, it would be something that is not a value or moral in my core beliefs but I am an open book and open to everything and anything. I do everything with a purpose and goal. And my message is to spread joy and laughter through my Infectious smile.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
My family, my struggle, being gay/ Mexican and underrepresented in the media and also being stereotyped.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
Miraló Moon🌙 I perform uplifting and feel good music. Gay Mexican artist thats up for any challenge. I’m proud of my song reborn that u can find on all platforms. I’m also an actor and currently working on a production for jungle book.

In terms of your work and the industry, what are some of the changes you are expecting to see over the next five to ten years?
Spreading joy and laughter and my amazing looks all over the world to showcase that we are all capable of doing anything and everything. There’s a perfect place for me in the industry and I believe we need me. I’m here to change the game.
