Today we’d like to introduce you to Radhaa Nilia.

Radhaa, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I am the founder of Radhaa Publishing House. I come from a lineage of Shamans, and storytelling is such an important part of that cycle. So, when I just got this absolute knowing that it was time to gather Starseeds to share their stories, I didn’t question it. I just knew that it was the thing to do. And I jumped right in. No advertising, just sharing. I put the call out, and to my absolute surprise, the writers emerged!

It’s a gift to come together in this way, and I have a great urgency in our work. We live in a time of unprecedented changes, and I think we can all agree that it’s an unusual era. One that wisdom keepers of the past have spoken about. And I just got this absolute download to create a book series at this time that pertains to some of these changes, to the awakening process, and in bringing more communities together from around the world into the information age.

Prior to curating books, I was working at Goddess Code Academy, A mystical School for the Divine Feminine where I teach Goddess Activations™, my original healing modality that works with the Goddess Archetypes. I have been working with women in mentorships, one to one sessions and teaching through the Academy is aligned to curating books. Working with hundreds of women over the years, I’ve been able to sit down and listen to so many women’t personal stories. We are currently curating three books right now, to come out in 2022. The first is Energy Healing & Soul Medicine. I believe that energy healing can make such a positive shift in someone’s life. So, I thought, what would be better than having real healers, coaches, and holistic practitioners sharing all kinds of modalities that could benefit others. This serves as both a collaborative book and a healing directory. This book is really for Holistic practitioners, Healers, Coaches, Herbalists, and Shamans. The second book we are curating is called Stories of the Goddess. And it’s open for those that feel drawn to write about the Goddess in her many forms and for those who have a sacred relationship with the Goddess. I was inspired to curate this anthology of Goddess stories because I believe every woman has her unique expression and experience with the Goddess that is so personal to her. I have worked with hundreds of women throughout the years with my modality in Goddess Activations™. I have seen firsthand how the Goddess has helped women heal, forgive, light up an inner fire, fall in love with themselves, heal sisterhood wounds, and awaken that Goddess that has always lived within them. This book will feature poetry, stories, and medicine that will enrich the lives of its readers through inspiring content. It celebrates the achievements of incredible women from all walks of life. The third book we are currently curating is Awakening Starseeds: Volume 3, Dreaming into the Future. The Awakening Starseeds series is near and dear to my heart, and I got a “download” that it’s now important for people to share their Starseed stories. Radhaa Publishing House is curating eleven books on the Awakening Starseed series. We have done two volumes and are on the third one coming out in the Summer of 2022. We just started putting the call out to authors who’d like to be a part of the third series called Awakening Starseeds: Dreaming into the Future, Volume 3. We are calling forth visionaries, innovators, healers, inventors who are creating new ways to live. We need visionaries now more than ever https://bit.ly/2X7SrPi.

People who can contribute to our Future are valuable assets to humanity. There are so many young people and innovators creating inventions that are here to help move us forward. Forward thinkers are what we need! The old ways are crumbling, and that’s pretty crystal clear. So we’re calling forth anyone that has something important to share. We offer voices that haven’t been given the platform to shine.

Radhaa Publishing House is big on supporting authors’ voices and creating visibility. All authors receive a video interview and a written interview that will stay online with all their contact info and links. Joining as an author offers creative coaching, a community of authors, support from start to finish. Our books are meant to be everlasting and part of creating a Legacy.

Besides being the founder of Radha Publishing House, I still work with women at Goddess Code Academy; A mystical school for the divine feminine. I’ve been mentoring women with my modality, Goddess Activations™. My whole goal with my clients and students is empowerment. I love to offer tools that they can take and use in their own lives to heal themselves and others. I offer both personal coaching, healing programs, and practitioner courses at Goddess Code Academy. I’ve had the joy of working with many women in Los Angeles and worldwide, as this work has led me to travel extensively to meet with my clients and do in-person intensives and now I am offering all classes and sessions on zoom. This has become a wonderful way to meet people effortlessly. Just pop on and co-create in the realm of storytelling, arts, or healing.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The Circle of Storytelling. Arts. Healing. I remember taking a memoir writing class when I was a teen. I wanted to take this class not because I had a memoir to write but because I was always drawn to these crone women who were wise and had lived so much life. My class was filled with these incredible women, and I looked forward to hearing their stories every week.

It was so much more interesting and educational than being around kids my age. I’ve always loved hearing stories, especially people who’ve been through a lot and lived to tell their stories. I took a filmmaking class and did a documentary called ‘Women In Love’ where I interviewed these women in my writing class. After my film was completed, we screened it at the theatre, and it was an incredible experience to watch these women’s stories on screen.

This film is about love stories and looking back at it all fascinated me. Everyone cried in the theatre as women told their raw, real love stories. Some were like fairy tales, and others were horror stories, but it all wove together, and I am very proud of that film. So, my interest was always about storytelling. And in any medium, whether it be films or books, I want to hear it as long as the story brings truth, transformation, healing.

Many moons ago, I worked as a producer at the Studios in Hollywood, behind the scenes, and PR. It was always my dream to bring forth healing stories. I was a hard worker, non-stop, and was determined to bring forward films that would inspire healing. Despite making progress, getting the job done, and producing five films, I wasn’t too thrilled about the environment I was in at the time. It was very controlling and manipulative, especially for women. So I left the industry before the ‘me too movement came out. I could probably do a whole collaborative book on just that. Many of my female co-workers were struggling with this theme. It was the topic of many private conversations. And I’ve had over five films I’ve produced that were wiped off IMDB because I did not cooperate with this abuse. Standing up, saying no. And then it was shattering for me that all my hard work was just clean slated. I have stories yet to tell. There was a lot of trauma from these experiences. It was Soul crushing to work so hard, achieve so much, and then be betrayed in these ways. It was hard to get support, advocates, and so I felt very alone. I would never want anyone to feel that way.

This pain led me to move into my healing roots and excel in the healing arts. Energy healing is a game-changer. And for a few years, I just took every class, course, and training that I could. It led me to get certified in over a dozen healing modalities and even create my modality, Goddess Activations™. I poured all my pain into learning, growing, and discovering new ways of healing. I remember a teacher telling me to do 100 free sessions just for the experience. So I did! And before I knew it, I had a healing practice in Hollywood Hills. All from word of mouth. I lived and worked in my healing house, and I loved every minute of it. This was all pre-pandemic before I started doing zoom sessions. So I was able to sit in front of people, listen to their stories, work with them to transmute trauma, and then re-wrote their stories with belief work. Something happens when one is truly heard and can express it, there is this natural shift occurring, and there is medicine inside of it. I would do a lot of work with my clients, and then they would check in with their stories again, and it would have shifted in a way where they had more personal power.

The irony of the whole thing is that I was invited to studio lots to do healing sessions with actors and industry people. There is a lot of unspoken trauma in this field, and instead of being victimized by it, I was able to be of service to others. The Universe has a sense of humor, and I am grateful that I was led back to my Shamanic roots and led to curate collaborative stories by others where lessons can be learned. Because my voice had at one time been so suppressed, I am now an advocate of others’ voices. They can speak through the books, and they feel safe and supported. That was important for me to create a sacred space for these voices to come together. And despite the struggles, I feel that everything has only helped me grow and come full circle with my storytelling, arts, and healing. If you have a Soul purpose, you will find your way, even if you take a different route. Never give up on using your voice, speaking your truth, and healing trauma through writing. And for me, this is truly the key. I so appreciate our clients and creating a real community has been such a blessing.

Where do you see things going in the next 5-10 years?
